From the first meet with Suzanne to leaving the BNB we had an enjoyable time. The room was very clean with a good bathroom & shower. Comfy bed & room for the 2 of us to move around. Dinner at a local pub was suggested and a lovely meal was had. Breakfast the next morning was also very good with a good range of cereals and fruit along with the full English breakfast and other options.

We stayed here for 2 days near the beginning of our holiday in England and we didn't want to leave. Sharon was the most gracious host. She was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful during our entire stay. The location is great for walking along the waterfront promenade in either direction and/or seeing the pier. It is a short driving distance to get to Beachy Head and we found it was well located to tour the surrounding areas. Our room was bright, spacious and well appointed with an atmosphere of peace and relaxation; and despite it overlooking the busy road, the traffic noise was minimal. The ensuite bathroom was a good size, and it was very clean and functional. Breakfast is served in a bright and airy room. It was delicious and hearty with a good selection of both hot and cold options. An added bonus for us was the ease of car parking behind the guest house - and on occasion when these 3 spots were occupied, free street parking was easy to find nearby. Sharon and her dog Teddy were a delight to meet and they made our stay at the Guest House great from beginning to end.

The Ravilious is a stunning building, in an amazing location. So central, everything is a short walk away. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. We loved our room, it was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was lovely every morning, a lot of choice on the menu even for someone like myself who is dairy and egg free. The highlight of the stay were the fabulous hosts, Chris and Caroline. They were so friendly and attentive. Very helpful in recommending restaurants, giving directions, and so much more. Would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Eastbourne.

The hotel has a great location, few steps from the beach and 5 minutes walk to the city center full of restaurants and bars. The owner is extremely friendly and nice, the whole atmosphere and vibe of the hotel is very informal and you can feel that it is a family business. The family room for 4 people is huge, full of light and a play area outside of the room is very nice for small kids. The breakfast was very rich, freshly made with lots of choices. As a great bonus there is a owner's dog who is very friendly and loves to come and sit by guests. I recommend this hotel for families and for couples as well. Very nice experience.
