This was such an amazing find! The owner is very friendly and gave us some great tips for our stay. We ordered breakfast and it was very good! The building itself is beautiful and the room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Probably the best bed we had on our two week trip. The owner said that we could also use the fridge, although we didn't need to, but it could be useful for somebody else. There are plenty parking spots right across the street, next to a public park. Location is amazing, with several restaurants, shops, and good pubs right outside (it is still quiet, don't worry!). Loch Lomond and the castle park are also a minute away. I wish I could stay there for longer.

Everything! This is a fabulous location for visiting Loch Lomond and the surrounding villages. The pub has a fantastic menu to choose from and the outside deck overlooking the loch is an amazing place to enjoy a pint while soaking in the mountain views. This hotel offers free onsight parking and the staff are always on hand to assist with any of your needs. Highly recommend this hotel!!

We stayed at Moorlands for a couple of days over new year's eve and it is an understatement to say that the quality of our stay went far beyond our expectations. The house itself is perfectly clean and authentic, amazingly decorated for a charming vibe. But this was nothing compared to how welcoming our hosts were.
