On arrival the staff were very welcoming and patient with our lack of French and helped us with directions to Lille and things to do in the surrounding area. The room was clean and everything worked a treat. Breakfast was great and 9.50€ is a good price for a buffet style with bread, croissants, pain au chocolat and cereals amongst other food.

The room is good size and the bathroom is very nice and functional, all with a certain French touch to it all. I am pleasantly surprised and the carpeting feels clean. Breakfast is good and yes, would be too small if the hotel occupancy is high. Location it's so central for exploring this historic centre of the city. Nearby restaurants are fantastic.
