Absolutely beautiful place to stay on the way to South of France from the UK, so good we booked it on our return trip , motorcycles were secure and under cover 😀

Delightful, slightly old-fashioned hotel. Easy to find, easy to park. Good value for money. The interior has the most lovely old-fashioned lift and banister (a newer lift is in use too!), and a pleasant garden at the back. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom large and spacious. What made our stay outstanding was the quality of the staff. A pleasant girl checked us in, provided recommendations for restaurants and a list of taxi firms. However, it was the following morning on check-out that the hotel shone. Emmanuel had heard a bus collide with a car (our car) had rushed out and taken photos of the accident. When we came down, he explained what had happened, rang the bus company for us (who immediately accepted responsibility), and took us and the car (damaged only slightly, luckily) to the bus station & made sure that we were being properly treated. We'd certainly come back here (though we might park off-road next time), partly to eat again at Le Coq'Hôte (just some of the best food I've ever had, and not expensive) and partly to enjoy proper French hospitality.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable facilities and very friendly, welcoming hosts. Located very near to a motorway exit so if you're passing close by and looking to break your journey then it's perfect. Highly recommended. Fantastic breakfast in terms of quality, amount and variety.

The Owners were wonderful hosts in their family chateaux..it wasn't just a stay but an experience.

an excellent room on the first floor (as requested due my wife's ill health) dinner on the terrace by the edge of the river was very good value - the young ladies doing the service were impeccable in every respect breakfast is generous but take your own teabags - Earl Grey only on offer! The coffee was excellent. altogether a most pleasing experience

Delightful village, and really friendly hotel, set in the centre. Parking in the square opposite, no charge. Presume husband and wife owners, Madame front of house, always smiling and helpful. Rooms very simple but clean and tidy. Superb evening meal - we chose the three course set menu and had no regrets!
