The staff were very warm and welcoming. Felt like a family. They clearly take a ton of pride in their work. And they work very hard to make the stay memorable. The location is so good. 5 minute drive from Samara town. 1 minute drive to Carillo beach. 2 minute walk down a dirt road to the ocean, at the furthermost corner of Samara beach. The food at the hotel is good, the drinks are excellent. The pool is ideal for young kids. Several good sodas nearby, and other restaurants for pizza, falafel, pasta, etc. Howler monkeys in the trees in the morning. Geckos for the kids to chase at night. We plan to come back again for a longer stay (this time was 6 nights).

Located 4 minutes’ walk from Samara Beach and from Carrillo Beach, Montelaguna Boutique Hotel features free buffet breakfast, an extensive garden with a furnished terrace and a swimming pool.

We were made welcome upon arrival and the reception staff and management were always available for advice and bookings. Friendly and attentive restaurant staff. Room was cleaned daily and the bed was very comfortable. Location was excellent, private balcony to observe and hear wildlife. Walking distance to 2 beaches and a 5 minute drive into town. The lovely pool area provided a relaxing environment after time at the beach. Good breakfast each day and the chef cooked a delicious dinner for us using a couple of tuna we caught on a fishing trip.The cleaning staff were friendly and very efficient. We had a great stay and would like to return.
