GermanyWonderland was the most special place I’ve seen so far. The views you can get from around this house leave you in awe. Literally a dreamhouse with everything you could wish for. Waking up in this quiet jungle like atmosphere with the sounds of the nature gives you amazing morning energy.
The staff of the house became almost like friends, they are incredibly sweet characters, everyone special and very helpful. The breakfast was super tasty including Eggs, with veggies & bacon, croissants and a breakfast Smoothie, always fresh on the go. Checking in and out was easy and fast. The host Patrick did a wonderful job with arranging all of our wishes so you can keep on dreaming. When you enter Wonderland you don’t want to leave anymore. There are so many things to discover in this house, you could spend a whole week venturing around. If you do want to leave, we also booked a Vineyard tasting right next door at Constantia Glen with an amazing Mountain View. Through an easy app system called Mydestination I booked a massage on the roof of the house in a green oasis which felt like a jungle. The masseuse was top notch.

The temperature of the water : 28 degrees 💦💦wonderful! The hostess has taken care of us in a very courteous and generous fashion . She equipped us with a delicious picnic humper for our Table Mountain hike!

IrelandOne of the best value for money stays I ever experienced. It honestly felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel. The room was huge, cleaned twice per day and had amazing viewing. The breakfast was incredible and made to order each morning. The location is great too, we were worried that it would be a bit far from Cape Town but it's only a 20-25min drive. Ubers are really affordable and its still quite easy to get to and from the city at night time.

This place is just the worst. Pics on the site is deceiving.... Not what I expected....i want my money back... I did not stay at this place... I don't know if this people expected animals would come and stay for the weekend.... If I stay away for a weekend, I expect it to home away from home... I was just not happy.... The staff is very welcoming, friendly and very diligent in their work. The place is a dream really, the views of the mountains are majestic. Rooms very comfortable and very clean every day. The food was delicious. It's so quiet and peaceful you would think you the only guest. There is an additional games room to use which is very elegantly decorated. Quiet nice town. We ate at a seaside tourist restaurant. It had great fresh fish and we could walk there on the beach. The least favorite was the haggling and begging at the docks before and after the seal boat ride. This town was our first stop in South Africa and it really represented the divide between wealth and poor. We stayed in Hout Bay for three nights.
We stayed in Hout Bay for three nights. It's a small fishermen town, very sleepy/peaceful. Yet, there are enough restaurants and bars to find your taste. We were two girls travelling alone, but we felt very safe there. You can easily do some hikes from there, take a walk at Hout Bay Beach, visit Cape Good Hope or Chapmans Peak. Other than that, there is not very much to do. So pick Hout Bay if you want a safe and peaceful stay near Cape Town!Guest review byAnonymous
