- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 26 reviewsEverything was great as as others have said. But I want to point out to potential future guests how perfectly orientated this property is. Because it faces north it gets the best of the sun during the day without blinding sunsets, so you really can enjoy the view all day long. Plus it is well protected from the infamous Cape southeaster wind. The proximity of a rocky outcrop provides the added visual interest of waves breaking and birds gathering. There is direct access to the lovely shoreline path with its local flora (some with nicely annotated name tags) and birdlife. Apart from the marine animals (seals, dolphins) and birds (including the distinctive African Black Oystercatcher, of course) we were delighted by an apparently semi-resident tortoise and visits by guinea fowl and a steenbok.Guest review byPhilipSouth Africa
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 441 reviewsEverything!!!! The guest house is just above the beach. The view of the beach is stunning! We had sea views from our rooms from every angle! There were sunbeds right outside our rooms, close to the pool. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the place is spotless. The decor is very tasteful, old world mixed with modern. We had coffee/tea making facilities in our rooms. Breakfast was delicious and so beautifuly presented! The bathrobes and our bed linen turned down for us were just another added touch! I highly recommend The Oystercatcher's Haven!Guest review byingridFrance
- From US$103.29 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 270 reviewsA very nice selection of rooms and villas / cottage in the family run estate right at the beach in Mosselbank, the northern end of Paternoster, but still close to the center, everything can be reached within a few minutes. Great place to start exploring the endless beaches after a healthy breakfast which offers you many choices. Baywatch can only be recommended and I am looking foward to the next visit.Guest review byHansSwitzerland

- From US$154.91 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 60 reviewsThere was not a big variety for breakfast. I did not like the bread that was served. There was bread and different polonies which was not my favorite. The fruit and yogurt was delicious. Host should have a bigger variety for guest to choose .Guest review byYvonneSouth Africa

I absolutely love St Helena Bay.
I absolutely love St Helena Bay. Every time I visit, I’m blown away by the peace and natural beauty of the place. The beaches are quiet and unspoiled, the sunsets are breathtaking, and there’s truly something special St Helena Bay.(so much so I bought some land) The locals are friendly, the seafood is fresh, and the whole atmosphere just makes you feel relaxed and at home. It’s truly one of my favorite coastal getaways.Guest review byDenzylSouth Africa - 8.0

Saldanha is a quiet fishing and mining town with lots of interesting places to see. The local fish monger has the best fish and chips. The Weskus Mall is close by with good shops to visit. We visited the fossil museum close by which has very interesting exhibits.Guest review byJeffrey KnickelbeinUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The house is stunning and well laid out.
The house is stunning and well laid out. Braai room is wonderful for family games or just sitting around chatting. Beautiful views of the sea and the green belt allows for wonderful walks. Lena who opened for us was great and available for any questions we had. We will be back and highly recommend this home that has that feels like home away from home.Guest review byPrudenceSouth Africa - 10.0
It's quiet, peaceful venue.
It's quiet, peaceful venue. The room is fitted with remarkable detailed wooden furniture pieces, a reminder of a trip down memory lane. I was stunned! The Hostesses are friendly warm people with an eye for detail. Everything was perfect for Peter and myself. This is a gem in the heart of Vredenburg, West Coast South Africa🇿🇦Guest review bySandySouth Africa - 10.0

I am from Cape Town, so I am spoiled with many wonderful beaches…. But sadly … few are safe…. Shelley Point is the best location for safety and the most beautiful beaches, views and friendly people! Being in a security estate, you can walk on the beach, cycle in the estate with never ever looking over your shoulder regarding security issues…. And the views and beaches are really spectacluar!Guest review byerikaSouth Africa - 10.0
Its a beautifully thought out family friendly property.
Its a beautifully thought out family friendly property. Its a pleasure preparing family meals in the well equipped open plan kitchen and dining area. Then enjoying them on the beach facing terrace table while observing dolphins frolickingly in the ocean. Lovely braai facility on the deck too, with all the braai grids and pooitjie pots you may need, there also. The property is designed in such a way that a family of six, or even only one or two guests will feel comfortable using all or only a few of the facilities. Under cover parking would have been the cherry on top, but the area is patrolled by security vehicles that we saw, during the night. We felt safe at all times.Guest review bySwenSouth Africa - 10.0

What a lovely little village that despite its growth, remains peaceful, safe and quaint. You feel like you in Greece. Safe enough to walk around on your own. The village has several outstanding restaurants that are well worth going to, 'Gaaitjie' was amazing! Another highlight was the horse trail at Drikus Horse trails with our guide Vicky who was fantastic.Guest review byMary-AnnSouth Africa - 10.0

St Helena Bay is a very interesting village. It is conveniently situated on the West Coast within in reach of many small, interesting villages and towns. It faces north over the sea, which makes it ideal. Its close proximity to Cape Town is definitely a bonus.Guest review byJacquesPortugal - 10.0

The town does not have much going. there should be things to do for people booking in. I was there for a different reason. my Mother passed away. so still i would not do a holiday to the town. we are very active people and love to do activities. I will come back to see someone. Or when passing by stop and overnight. I felt that overall the town needed more life.Guest review bySchutteSouth Africa
