The giraffe on the pictures are wandering around, between the cabins. We stayed in the smallest room but got a lot of value for our money. It's just outside the actual reserve but still has a view on the animals, there is just a parking spot in between the fence and the room, which is adjacent to the main building. You can walk around on the farm, or take your car and go for a game drive (doable with any vehicle but definitely advisable to do it with something with a higher than average clearing)Guest review byBafierBelgium

Come to Hermanus for the sea views and shore walks. You MAY see a whale or two. Lovely drives with restaurants and coffee shops up and down the coast. Excellent mall for all your shopping needs. Interesting shops in the main street area. Well worth a stop to visit. Struisbaai is a wonderful place to stay, it is small and has all the facilities one could need, restaurants, shopping, chemist etc. I loved the harbour, and being a photographer this is a wonderful place to stay. The people of Agulhas are friendly and the sea view is lovely, lots of walking paths and an animal friendly environment. Stanford is a quaint, peaceful and very beautiful Village. It offers the chance to rekindle your oneness with nature and explore the beauty of the surrounding countryside and Reserves. Stanford offers a unique shopping experience, which seemingly encourages a more relaxed, ambient pastime. We were very privileged to be able to dine at Madre's, an iconic restaurant with food to match, a gastronomic experience in itself. There appears to be annual shows held in the town, those being the Flower Show and the Motor Shows, both of which appear to attract great interest from locals and holidaymakers alike. Breakfast buffet and beaches were lovely. The arniston cave is a beauty and must see. It is a bit scary going to the cave. We did not have time to walk around in the neighbourhood but the place seemed quiet and safe. We visited Cape Agulhas and there were more restaurants nad food options. Arniston does not have a variety of lunch and supper options for our pallet. The spa at Arniston is also great. The lamb shank is delicious at Arniston. I would have like a bigger variety with the pizza options. For visiting the hot springs it is good, however it is expensive and you are better off staying in an Air BnB near by and visiting the springs in the day time.
