- From US$98.42 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 387 reviewsThe lodge that was stayed in was beautiful and although I was worried, having 3 next to eachother, and ours being the middle, it was actually very very private. All you could focus on was the Bush. And with the location we were spoilt with a nighttime visit from the buffalo, a morning with the giraffes right outside and then an extra special afternoon with the rhinos right outside our door.Guest review byTenealNetherlands

The general degradation of SA coastal towns is evident and...
The general degradation of SA coastal towns is evident and is costing the economy hundreds of millions as tourists are put off by high crime rates, poor service in some shops and municipal lethargy. Water restrictions are in place due to poor planning by unqualified municipal executives. Municipalities need to raise standards by hiring people who can prove their effectiveness and have qualifications and/or experience with testimonials. MacArthur pool was empty. Indifference seems to be the order of the day. Makro is a great store to visit. Addo game park is also recommended. Cape Recife is a great drive. The weather was warm and traffic flowed well.Guest review byBridgetSouth Africa - 10

We have been to Addo probably 40 times and just never get enough of it, and once again on rare occassions, saw a lioness up close. As always there were plenty of Buffalo, Elephant, Zebra, Red Hardebeest, Warthog, Kudu, and oh! a Hyena!Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10

Born and bread in Port Elizabeth, the City has a lot of amazing sites to visit. At the heart of the Donkin Reserve stands the striking Stone Pyramid Monument, built by Sir Rufane Donkin, the Acting Governor of the Cape Colony in the 1820s. He erected the pyramid in 1820 as a touching tribute to his beloved wife, Lady Elizabeth Donkin, after whom the city was named (Port Elizabeth) to the 50m high Campanile Memorial with a climb of 204 steps offering a magnificent view of the harbor and surroundings.Guest review byJacobs - 8.0

The town has a long history and it is very well worthwhile exploring the sights in town as well as the nature reserves nearby. The Valley of Desolation is amazing. Plenty of good places to eat in town. On Sundays the town is very quiet.Guest review byNOELSouth Africa - 8.0
I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff.
I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff. I wish you can improve on your breakfast, put more effort on it and also use nice tasty sausage. I couldn’t use the phone in the room to make phone calls to the reception so I had to use mine which was not fair. The food at the restaurant was delicious and I didn’t even have to go out. The service was excellent at the Wellness and beauty Spa.Guest review byNokulungaSouth Africa - 10
