What a beautiful little spot of heaven.
What a beautiful little spot of heaven. The water is turquoise and clear. So peaceful and just stunning everywhere. Everyone in the service industry here is just so friendly and lovely. I highly recommend going to eat at La Petit Maison and Die Strandloper, outstanding service and food!Guest review byDickson - 10.0

A quaint little town with so much to offer. So many places to explore, whether by foot, by bike or by car. The beeches were amazing and so many restaurants to choose from. We will definitely be back!Guest review byCorinaSouth Africa - 10.0
Great to visit Yzerfontein.
Great to visit Yzerfontein. Had a good morning on the beach, walking about the town and going to the harbour. Enjoyed swimming in the icy ocean. Could have had an extra day to visit some of the restaurants and stores. We stayed a few kms out of town, but next time will look to stay on the beachfront or nearby.Guest review byZar - 10.0
I absolutely love St Helena Bay.
I absolutely love St Helena Bay. Every time I visit, I’m blown away by the peace and natural beauty of the place. The beaches are quiet and unspoiled, the sunsets are breathtaking, and there’s truly something special St Helena Bay.(so much so I bought some land) The locals are friendly, the seafood is fresh, and the whole atmosphere just makes you feel relaxed and at home. It’s truly one of my favorite coastal getaways.Guest review byDenzylSouth Africa - 8.0

Brilliant sea-view; literally just a street width from beach. Not for swimming though; swimming beach ca 1km away. But one does not come for swimming! When the wind comes from the north, the smell of sea-birds somewhat overwhelming. But that's part of the deal. Isabella's and Roestyd both good restaurants; value for money; great sea-food.Guest review byAndreasSouth Africa - 10.0

A beautiful little fisherman's haven, tourist attraction, near all amenities and for bigger shopping, the Westcoast mall. Best fish n chips ever, freshly baked at Laaiplek harbor. And value for money. Another attraction is the salt pans, Berg River for the famous Duzi Cano marathon, and bokkom fisheries.Guest review byJudith CarelseSouth Africa - 8.0

Saldanha is a quiet fishing and mining town with lots of interesting places to see. The local fish monger has the best fish and chips. The Weskus Mall is close by with good shops to visit. We visited the fossil museum close by which has very interesting exhibits.Guest review byJeffrey KnickelbeinUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Melkbostrand is a quite nice sea side village on the start/end of the wildflower route on the West coast. Very relaxed with very good restaurants and a small convenient mall. The only nu clear plant in SA is closed by and entrance to their wildlife park is for free. They also have a information centre explaining how nu clear power is created. Best place to take spectacular pictures of Table Mountain.Guest review byJacquesSouth Africa - 10.0
The house is stunning and well laid out.
The house is stunning and well laid out. Braai room is wonderful for family games or just sitting around chatting. Beautiful views of the sea and the green belt allows for wonderful walks. Lena who opened for us was great and available for any questions we had. We will be back and highly recommend this home that has that feels like home away from home.Guest review byPrudenceSouth Africa - 10.0
I loved the "feel" of Darling, with their big wide roads.
I loved the "feel" of Darling, with their big wide roads. You really felt you were out in the countryside, fresh air & beautiful birdsong....no traffic noise. I found the people very friendly. We went for a wedding on one of the farms & loved every minute of it. We ate at the Marmalade Cat, good food, staff were warm & inviting & the cost was very reasonable. I also bought some beautiful gifts from The Heart of Darling shop, loved wandering around the array of items. We also popped into The Forge, such great ambience, lovely staff. I wanted to go back there but we ran out of time. We have friends in Darling & had a braai with them, so we got to meet some of the locals.... loved it! We'll be back.Guest review byGeraldineSouth Africa
