- From US$2,180.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 10.0Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 34 reviewsSimply great. Great location in many senses - the reserve itself (only 1 hour from the airport PLZ), the location of the manor in the reserve and of course the reserve as a biodiverse paradise. Food - great - suprisingly great we have to say. The Manor is spacious, our room was much larger than expected. It had a terrace facing the open reserve where you could see animals from a distance after a shower or having a coffee. The buildings have a modern country style touch, are very welcoming, open and invite to relax. There is "the usual" 5-star stuff to do, if you are not on a game drive (pool, spa, gym, etc). Which is great if you have a partner or you are in a group with people that are not into game drives as much - they will have a proper 5-star hotel experience and be able to relax anyway. - This is a main difference to camps with tents and less luxurious equipment. Staff is very friendly - nice concept of the ranger having breakfast with you afterwards so you can reflect upon what you have seen. Children - there is another camp in the reserve that is especially family friendly - I forgot the name - ask the reserve, they will tell you.Guest review byClemensUnited Arab Emirates
- From US$1,820.56 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 25 reviewsLalibela experience was something real and unique! It doesn’t matter how frequently you are traveling - you will be pleasantly surprised by sincere hospitality of the team (starting from the smooth and prompt booking process till the best service on the spot), deep and outstanding knowledge of the rangers (special thanks to Nikita and Ashley - your love to your work and nature helps me to believe in humanity) and, last but not least, the scale of the territory where you will find trilling encounter with wild, beautiful animals and with strong, breathtaking nature (we were happy to spend the days far away from noise, traffic, density of the city - full recharge). The Lounge itself (we booked “Kichaka”) is impressive, here you will find everything that is needed for comfortable stay (beautiful luxury design, super wide terrace, pool, private pool with water heating system, 2 real fireplaces that you can enjoy after an evening safari or when it rains, bar, beautiful local wine, wide menu for all courses of the meal etc.). All of this was already included in the price of booking. To leave this place was a real hart braking moment. Thank you!Guest review byAleksandraItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 886 reviewsThis location is marvellous. We slept into one of the tipical house which is absolutely wonderful. Candice welcomed us in a very friendly way and we felt at home far away from our home. We ate very well at the restaurant. The houses, together with the restaurant, the vegetable garden and the school are connected to a project to traine future chefs, receptionists, and so on. Here young men and women are getting French, maths, English, etc. Lessons and are prepared for the world of work. Congratulations to the owner for this gorgeous project I've loved and hope to come back one day, as a volunteer, to give my little contribution.Guest review byIngridItaly

- From US$794.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 73 reviewsWe had an amazing stay at an amazing lodge. In particular: great food, spectacular views and super well organized safaries in the mornings and afternoons. From the moment you arrive at the gates, you can fully relax as everything is well taken care of. Thanks also to Melanie for making the Safaris unforgettable and for spotting all the animals we would otherwise have missed as well as for the vivid and detailed explanations.Guest review byIsabelGermany

My stay at Adventure Apartment, Colchester was truly wonderful. The space was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and offered a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind. Every detail from the serene surroundings to the warm and welcoming ambiance, was thoughtfully arranged. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and a touch of elegance. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting againGuest review byMemory ZodwaSouth Africa - 8.0
We liked the venue. The environment is beautiful.
We liked the venue. The environment is beautiful. The road was a challenge, but we knew that we had to come with a 4x4 vehicle and the men knew how to drive on a 4x4 route. It was raining when we arrived and it was cold, but everybody should know not to travel without a jacket.Guest review byRiaanNamibia - 10.0

We did an afternoon Giraffe walk through Bellevue Lodge and it was amazing - we were taken on a safari vehicle onto a game reserve and from there had to find the grazing giraffe. Once we spotted them, we drove close by and then got out of the vehicle to walk close (but not too close) to the giraffe to watch them eat their dinner. It was a lovely experience, and our guide Stephen was knowledgeable and friendly, answering all our questions. We stayed at the Bellevue Lodge for 1 night, it was a lovely small property with friendly staff.Guest review bySusanSwitzerland - 10.0

We stayed at Dungbeetle River Lodge for 2 nights while visiting Addo. We arrived in the late afternoon and then took a full day game drive from the lodge. It was a bit much for us and would do a morning game drive next time. The experience was awesome, it was just too long for our pensioner bodies! Staying 2 nights was perfect because the evening gave us a nice recovery period before we hit the road for our return to Cape Town. Dungbeetle River Lodge was a perfect location from which to travel into Addo. It's literally 3 minutes from the south gate of the park.Guest review byCharlesSouth Africa - 4.0

Not a quaint little tourist town, and somewhat disappointed with our stay (for choice of shops, restaurants and ease of access to the river, lack of info for St Croix marine reserve). The Sand dunes are spectacular, but also not easy to access as on private property. The day visit permit is affordable (via Pearson resort) yet this information is not easily available to visitors. Close proximity to Addo South Gate which is great. Some marketing PR would go a long way!Guest review byCherylSouth Africa
