There were plenty of great options for children to stay entertained and enjoy the experience, which we really appreciated. However, we did experience some uncomfortable interactions in the area — particularly from a few individuals who seemed uneasy or unwelcoming toward people wearing hijabs. Rock Hill is a beautiful little city and an absolute gem just south of charlotte. Christmasville is an amazing Festival totally worth traveling for. We have family there so we visit every 3 months. Lots of traffic but it flows quickly enough. Gives you time to check out shops as you are sitting in traffic. We love the "old town" section.
