- From $111.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 2,168 reviewsWe had so much fun there. We could listen to the ocean waves from inside the room or on the small balcony. It was an easy walk to the beach, and the sunsets were spectacular. We were able to save a little money by cooking our own breakfasts in the unit. It had a kitchenette complete with dinnerware,, pans and utensils.. The weather was cool and rainy so we didn't get in the water. We're looking forward to a summer or fall visit to spend more time on the beach. It was a great experience.Guest review byAttebery
- From $169.12 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 983 reviewsMy husband and I loved this hotel. We decided to splurge on a room with a hottub and a balcony facing the ocean. After a long, beautiful walk in the beach right in front of the hotel we came back to a good soak in the tub, sat on the balcony to watch the sun go down and then slept very well in the very comfortable bed.Guest review byShelaghCanada

Initially we were disappointed by Portland - downtown main area was pretty empty and full of people on drugs etc. After going on a coast tour we got tips on best areas and fell in love with it very quickly. It's all about the neighbourhoods. We loved the Rose Garden and the Japanese Garden was stunning (we have been to Japan and my husband lived there so have some comparison). We loved Alberta Arts District, Nob Hill, Powell's City of Books and the Saturday market by the river and farmer's market. We also saw live music in NE area and ate very well wherever we went. Just don't expect it to be a regular city with classic tourist areas or busy downtown.Guest review byRuthUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We only stayed one night as we drove through on to Crater Lake but the little we saw, was nice. We had dinner at Pine Tavern (Not sure about the name) which is next to Bend Brewery. Food was very good as was the service.Guest review byAlejandraUnited States - 8.0
I've always loved this town.
I've always loved this town. Lots of events and good restaurants with lots nearby things to do. The only negative thing you have to deal with is the traffic but not really a way to change that. Just be aware.Guest review byKathyUnited States - 10.0
Don't be discouraged by the exterior!
Don't be discouraged by the exterior! Clean, clean, clean room-- big plus! Jeremy checked us in and was absolutely fabulous! Excellent location despite the online booking which showed the location on the beach. We were within walking distance of the Prom and beach. The downtown area was so quaint and close!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Great town with huge amount of attractions.
Great town with huge amount of attractions. Traffic is challenging and construction adds to the challenge. Downtown is pretty sad, but has some good features. Restaurants everywhere, great parks, lots of entertaining things to do, and of course, the crown jewel of the University and the U. District.Guest review byDennisUnited States - 10.0

Salem is quite small and unfortunately the state capitol was undergoing building work (it's one of the main sights). Not too many shops and restaurants downtown but the ones I went too were very good. Good place for a couple of days visit.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 6.0

It was very beautiful I enjoyed the mountains and the parks but the people there are rude and have a horrible disposition they act like they are better than everyone and then there's the police department there corruptGuest review byLucindaUnited States - 10.0
Astoria is a unique town in a unique location.
Astoria is a unique town in a unique location. I love the architecture of many of the homes in Astoria and the way they are arrayed along hilly streets. The town is fairly compact so attractions are never a long drive away. Ships coming in from the sea to go up the Columbia river or returning to the sea lend interest as you drive or walk around the city. Astoria remains one of my favorite cities in the Pacific Northwest!Guest review byBradleyUnited States
