The second front desk person was great, we arrived an hour before checkin, was told our room wasn’t ready. I waited 45 mins after checkin began before going back to front desk, room was still not ready, we were graciously upgraded to a suite which was a pleasant surprise!

We were greeted very kindly and kindly at the hotel entrance. The parking lot is huge and free. Even though we arrived at 3 am, the guys at the reception helped us check in as quickly as possible and were very polite. We liked the hotel, it is in a very easy and convenient location. There is a little noise from the opposite, knocking and pushing, but it is not a big deal. Especially if you are more drunk or tired, it does not make such an impression. After all, you are not on a spa weekend, you are in Vegas... The main street and the strip are all within walking distance. We are very happy!

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff at the reception is very friendly and very helpful, they gave us a lot of great tips and recommendations. The room was great, very large, at the top floor and with an amazing view of Lake Tahoe. The casino is small but very nice. You actually have the time and space to play a table game, if you like that, and interact with the dealers. The location is great and still close to all the other nature attractions around Lake Tahoe. It was my first time at Lake Tahoe, and the hotel experience contributed to the fun we had there.

The location was perfect — right in the center of everything, making it easy to walk around and explore. The view from the room was absolutely fantastic, and the spacious rooms made the stay even more comfortable. On top of that, the pool was a great bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Overall, a great experience!They also offered us some coupons for free beers, which we really appreciated, and Gilley’s was a nice spot to enjoy.

The Strip is longer than you think and the easiest way to...

The Strip is longer than you think and the easiest way to get around fast is with Uber. There are trams and monorails to move between hotels from the same chain, and apparently a bus (Deuce) that we did not use but appears to take forever. We preferred to leave the car at the hotel parking and not drive around as to get the hotel, I had to cross five lanes of highway from entering on the right and exiting on the left within 200 metres. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy on the road then. You could probably spend more time in Vegas than the one day and night we did, but if you're not aiming to gamble every night (for us, the one night was enough), you would need a programme for during the days (visit the aquarium, experience Fremont street, go for a helicopter ride or day trip to the Grand Canyon/Valley of Fire/desert etc.). We enjoyed the pool, the fountain show, the casino and then after our night stay, didn't really know how to fill our time until our flight home departed.

I wasn't really impressed with downtown Reno. The outlying areas were much more accommodable. Better entertainment, better attractions and a better value. Too many homeless people and boarded up businesses in the downtown area. Looked trashy.

This is not the Laughlin of prior visits. I haven't been there since COVID hit and apparently it did a number on this town. A couple of the hotels have shut down. There was no one playing on the river. It used to be packed with revelers, boaters, jet skis, etc. Very few people around except on Saturday when there was a car show at the Tropicana.

Clean comfortable beds and rooms. Very sparce furnishings but functional. Food is good for a cafe and good portions for the price. Dont loke how they jack the price for weekend stays. Driving on Interstate yoy see billboards advertising $39 rooms and on weekends price goes up over $100.

We came for the Star Train and were not disappointed by the trip. Definitely check out the Nevada Northern Railway when in Ely. They offer a number of different train rides, and the self-guided walking tour is also worthwhile. The Star Train is especially lovely, taking passengers out to the desert at night to a star viewing area, with telescopes and accompanied by professional astronomers. Beautiful.

This is a ghost town, there no people. the restaurants are empty and not very good. We only found a Thai restaurant The Basil it was very good and Vino's Pizza also very good. There is a nice hiking trail but that't about it. We had a great time because we went with friends but it is very sad to see Cities like this one.

Pahrump is a bit of a drive from Las Vegas but it is worth the drive if you want to leave the glitz behind. We were in the area for the Ron Fellows Driving School but we did try to explore the area while we were there. One big negative for us was that only 1 casino offers table games and those are limited.
