- From $78.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 67 reviewsReminded me of motels I stayed in as a child when traveling with my grandparents. This one was super clean, plenty of towels, bed was very comfortable. The grounds were well maintained. The owner built a fire outside in the fire pit. Plenty of seating around the ring. We had a very nice interaction with housekeeping as we were leaving-super nice ladies. Will definitely stay there again!Guest review byNolandUnited States

Asheville is filled with great artwork and plenty of wonderful places to shop and purchase art. It is also a foodie town and plenty of choices to fit anyone's taste. The history of Asheville is so interesting with the Biltmore tour, a must see. For nature lovers, a beautiful drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway with lunch or dinner at the top of the mountain at the Pisgah Inn,(need reservations) hikers, trails everywhere for all skill levels. Water lovers, rafting, paddling and boating on mountain lakes. And if you are a Beer lover then this is the town for you. Asheville is a jewel and wonderful place to have fun, relax and enjoy good food , drink and Mother Nature.Guest review byWittUnited States - 10.0

Cherokee is a must visit for any reason, the scenery is absolutely stunning and was surprisingly less packed than what I had figured with the time of year. The outdoor drama Unto These Hills is worth going, it was absolutely beautiful and would go back to see it again. The Branded Cattle Steakhouse and Native Brews Tap & Grill were both on hour long waits, and both menus looked great, but we were too hungry and opted for Burger King. I was with my best friend and family but would be just as great to have spent with a partner. Happy TravelingGuest review byHeatherUnited States - 10.0
Great little town with a variety of restaurants.
Great little town with a variety of restaurants. Didn't like having to pay to park anywhere near the shops and restaurants on King Street. The Peddler steakhouse was delicious and traffic was very light all weekend. The foggy mountain gem mine was fun sifting through the soil to find gems. Found some really cool stuff and the staff actually takes time to sort through your entire bag to explain what you found. The wife is having them cut & polish a rose quartz we found and is having it set in a ring for less than $90.Guest review byBrianUnited States - 8.0
Maggie Valley is a beautiful location to visit.
Maggie Valley is a beautiful location to visit. There isn't a great deal for children to do in Maggie Valley but it isn't too far to go to Cherokee, Waynesville, or Bryson City to find family friendly activities.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 10.0

Blowing Rock is a scenic and pleasant small city high in the mountains of North Carolina. It has numerous shops and several good restaurants, It also is right off the Blue Ridge Parkway and a great headquarters for exploring this popular National Scenic roadway.Guest review byNickUnited States - 10.0
This is a yearly trip for us.
This is a yearly trip for us. Waynesville has great restaurants like The Sweet Onion and Bogart's. There are lots of shops to browse and buy beautiful things.....great furniture at Massey's and always enjoy the General Mast Store. There are festivals here regularly; those times would really be crowded in the already tight streets. Patience is a virtue for sure!!! Most magnificently, Waynesville is the gateway to the Smoky Mountains where there are thousands of opportunities for hiking, biking, rock climbing, hiking vast distances like Art Loeb Trail. And do make a visit to the Little Drummer Pottery heading towards Maggie Valley! Lake Junaluska is another wonderful place with a 2.7 mile hike around the late. It is a conference center, but all are welcome to hike, enjoy The Rose Walk, The cross at the top of the hill which is shining brightly is the most beautiful site. WE have met many lovely people in Waynesville and enjoyed the crafts and artwork of the area.Guest review byCarolineUnited States - 10.0

If you like exploring small, charming towns, then Dillsboro is a great place to add to your list! There are several fabulous places to go, but I highly recommend Haywood Smokehouse if you are looking for a place to eat. You will NOT be disappointed. I am super picky about my brisket--so when I tell you that their brisket is the absolute best I've ever had--I mean it!!Guest review bySeanUnited States - 8.0
Hotel was a great location.
Hotel was a great location. We were skiing at Cataloochee, and this was a wonderful place to stay. About 10 mins from Maggie Valley, 20 mins from the ski resort, just a few minutes from Waynesville where you can find pretty much anything you need. It's really pretty, lots of birdlife nearby (swans, Bald Eagles). This would be a great hotel for summer when all of the outdoor activities are available. Lots of great restaurants in Waynesville (Frog Level Brewing, Haywoods BBQ) and some gems in Maggie Valley- Brickhouse Burgers & Pizza, Caffeine & Chaos.Guest review byChristieUnited States - 10.0

This place is located near some good restaurants and great outdoor activities. There is a beautiful waterfall a few miles away that has an easy hike and a swimming area. We took the dogs. The Cashiers Market is a great place to get fresh produce and meats. Recommend Cornucopia restaurant and breakfast at Zookeepers.Guest review byStephanieUnited States
