It was a fantastic stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Actually the nicest one we’ve had in Taiwan. The small tiny houses are beautifully and logically designed and the shower is excellent. The location is perfect, in the middle of the nature and away from the hustle and bustle, but a few minutes walking distance to the center. The owners are incredibly kind and care for this B&B with so much love. The breakfasts are delicious. This place is a top recommendation. Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay!

I look everything about this hotel ! I regretted that we only stayed for 1 night 😢. Should have stayed for more nights !! Starting from the free shuttle bus from Taichung HSR Station , the friendly and approachable staff ,the huge, modern and clean room overlooking the lake , the room onsen and the hotel onsen and sauna, the restaurant ( Shao Chinese restaurant - the hotel is so kind to provide my daughter the complimentary ‘longevity peach ‘ for desert for her birthday ) and the location which is literally only 2 mins walk to the Ita Shao shopping street where you can grab all sorts of food and things . We love this hotel so much that we are already booking another trip next year to stay for a few nights !

Location is perfect , the trail starts from below the hotel, bicycle rental is very close by; the market n restaurants are walking distance of 3-4 mins The room was very comfortable for our family of 4, huge bathtub was a bonus for our kids. Stayed 2 nights at Hotelday Sun Moon Lake. The hotel is strategically located next to Sun Moon Lake and it is opposite the Wenwu Temple. The round the island public bus stop is also in front of the hotel makes it a very convenient place to stay. The hotel design is a mixture of modern contemporary and Chinese influences. Very cozy and comfortable. They provide breakfast and "supper" for most of the rate plan, however the "supper" has a very limited variety and it is only open from 8.30pm onwards.  The room was cleverly designed, with the shower and WC separated and the vanity was located outside.  My room was located at level 2, though there was a balcony but there was no view, blocked by all the trees. If you prefer to have room with view over the lake, you have to book higher floor otherwise it is as good as not having a balcony. There is a roof top bar on level 7. The view was amazing, minimum spend per person is required. Generally, it was a pleasant stay.

Set in Yuchi, 10 minutes’ drive from Shuishe Pier and Sun Moon Lake, Fantasy Palace offers accommodation in Nantou.
