We were a couple blocks from the spice bazaar, new mosque and emineau station and the harbor. Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and topkapi palace is walking distance uphill or you can take the tram located a block away. Same with the Grand Bazaar, just a different direction With the tram being so close, you can get to the asian side and visit dolmabahce palace and taksim Square So many places to eat right out the door and places to shop Staff is super friendly and have accommodated my family and I with a triple room and double room next to each other. Take the breakfast included option, their breakfast spoils you and you can also order omelets if you don't like scrambled/boiled eggs. One of my favourite hotels in the cities I had toured in my 2 weeks in Türkiye. We talked with him every day, he helped us with everything we needed and gave us some good recommendations. He is a one of the highligths of our trip without any doubt. We also had the honor to meet the hotel manager Emirhan Bey who was also really kind and made us felt very welcome to his hotel. The hotel is at the right place to explore the city, right in middle of everything. This is a very old crossroad, market city.

Tuzla is a wonderful area on the edge of Istanbul.

Nature walks, a lot of nice places to enjoy the beautiful scenery of valleys and mountains, Sapancha is a very nice place to spend a couple of good long days with the family and kids or with your partner. Corlu is fine but not a tourist place. I was visiting friends. You are asking all these things but give no possibility of actually talking to you to get the problems we had sorted. The people of Avcilar are very nice, friendly and helpful. I felt safe walking around by myself even in the evening. It’s not very touristy which was nice. However that does mean that there’s not a lot of people who speak English, however everyone is willing to make it work with gestures and Google translate.
