This is the best and most cozy hotel I visited, all the staff is very kind and helpful. It so happened that my birthday was during the vacation, I received a a lot of congratulations and a piece of a cake. What about the service, the service is at the best level !!! Everywhere clean and very beautiful) The rooms were cleaned every day, clean towels and the shiny mirrors. Breakfast is a separate topic, I, as a person not a fan of omelet, ate it everyday till the end. It was excellent and very tasty. Cocoa was delicious. Vegetarian options were also presented. The hotel also had a sauna, a great place to relax after a long day. You can also play billiards or take a board game, or a book to read. There were delicious sweets at the reception and a very nice and kind girl. The chef has always been sociable, offered different breakfast options! All the workers were just lovely.

This is probably, the nicest, most unique stay that I have ever had. The setting of the igloos is breathtaking, the actual igloos are so comfortable and well appointed. There is nothing to describe lying in a cosy bed looking at the stars, or opening your eyes to an orange glow across a frosty lake. Breakfast was brilliant, so much choice, although I did discover that seems to be standard in Finland. It is a beautiful, peaceful and calming environment. Oh and the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble.

All sorts of toiletries, bathing gowns, slippers, umbrella, torch, and lots of towels were provided too. A beautiful bunk bed was there too. Extremely good staff. Kind, cooperative, and at our service. A car drops and picks up from the treehouse and vice versa. Lavish breakfast and customised service . Staff coming and inquiring if we needed something. It was season end, with very few guests still the staff was attending us and made customized food, even with the lavish buffet breakfast. Rakas restaurant ❤️🎈 We got an early check-in and late check out. Thanks to Elisabetta, Sofia, Krystal, Buddhini, Theo, Habib, and the restaurant personnel. Will surely visit again 😊

    Everything was perfect, the cabins at the ranch were well equipped with perfect heating systems even at -15 temperatures. We loved the decor fit & finish and the beds are very comfortable too. The main highlight has to be the glass roof ceiling & top to bottom glass windows. It’s a perfect spot to watch the northern lights or stars while tucked under your bed. The staff are friendly the outdoor heated jacuzzi is just perfect, we couldn’t get enough it ! We used it every single day during our 3 nights stay. Highly recommend to get inside at night ! Food is fantastic with top notch presentation and quality. Breakfast buffet is served daily as well.

    Summer trip to Rovaniemi: Lapland was in a heat wave which held us back a bit as it was rather humid. We enjoyed Arktikum very much, went swimming in the river, walked in the Arctic Gardens and explored the town centre. We planned some hiking but it was hotter than we expected. At end of July, sunset around midnight for only a short time, which is cool.

    Great resort place, west village right next to husky farm and horse farm. Decent planetarium also, but they need to learn a bit about running these shows :). Do install the Aurora app if you are there for this. The Aurora alarm in rooms don't work, or atleast didn't work for me.

    I do ski (downhill) but would not ski in Jan/early Feb in Levi because of the poor light. However it is a great village to visit and not ski if you like winter walking or other snow based activities. The restaurants are very good and characterful if you choose wisely.

    Inari is a little place, surrounded by amazing forests and lakes. It is certainly a must if you want to get to know Saami culture better. It also perfectly fits for those, who like nature and long walks. Although it is small, you can find pretty many activities there - from taking a boat trip in Inari lake in the summer period, to visiting Side museum and doing northern light hunting in winter. PaPaNa pub is also a must to visit.

    Kilpisjärvi in winter is a magical experience. The village is located in the far north of Finland, in the heart of Lapland. It is a popular destination for winter activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing.     Small town by the sea. The icebreaker, SAMPO, is the attraction of the town. If you are not interested in sailing in the iced sea,walking on the iced sea and floating in the sea, you needn't come here. I bought some pretty clothes in a small shop in Kemi. How happy!

    We erre here in winter.

    We erre here in winter. We made 2 tours from here and from Rovianemi. One is Aurora Borealis and the other one is a tours tó the frozen waterfalls. We really loved that there was snow here, the landscape was white, and alsó the trees.

Just install the northernlight alert app and go enjoy your stay within the premises , it will sent alerts for the area you’re in and that’s what we did. Realy great experience and so magnificent to see the dancing colorful northern lights . Breathtaking . The location is perfect away from the city however the city center is not too far only around 5-6 kilometers.

    Ivalo itself was cute.

    Ivalo itself was cute. Not too touristy, much quieter than places close by and everyone so friendly with a well stocked supermarket. Not too many places to eat but it depends what you’re looking for. As a young family, it was perfect for us!

    The ski resort was very nice.

    The ski resort was very nice. Also, Amethyst mine was great to visit. I recommend to everyone! My norther lights hunting was not successful because of the weather, but I will try again. If I had more time, I would love to cross country skiing and visit the national park nearby. I wish I could try to eat more local food from Lapland. Oh well, next time :)
