A very authentic place to feel the Serbian village atmosphere. Amazing place for Kusturica's movies lovers.
Nice views of the suburbs of Mecavnik resort and villages around. Plus the views of railway station Mokra Gora (Šarganska osmica).
The room itself was big, quiet and comfortable. It was nice temperature inside. Comfortable beds. WiFi is good and stable.
The staff was helpful and supportive. Very good breakfasts and dinners from local farms products. Serbian cuisine. A lot of possibilities to spend time in the hotel itself and around. Very good and hot sauna.
So if you like Emir Kusturica's art, Serbian village atmosphere, Serbian cuisine - you must visit this place.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Osmica! From the moment we arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The accommodation was spotless, clean, refurbished and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast was included, and it was delicious. The location is perfect, offering easy access to local attraction while providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend Osmica to anyone looking for a memorable and delightful stay!

She took care od everything.
Holiday cabin is equiped with everything that you need, including a dishwasher!
The place is also good for smaller parties, you have speaker, lights and microphone.
Cabin is also great for families.
Everything is designed perfectly, main cabin is like a witches house from Hansel and Gretel, you have mini Candy house, Tesla house and Milutin Cabin, each has specific motives.
You also have sauna and jacuzzi.
Phone signal is good 4G and internet is up to 25 mb/s.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with a restaurant right next to it that offers exceptional food and a great view! The rooms are small, but that’s not an issue at all because the nights are peaceful, making for a great night’s sleep. I highly recommend it! 🤗👌

The hosts and the cabin make for the perfect getaway. It was exactly what I hoped for when booking a cabin. I would definitely recommend getting a car, bringing some books and some nice warm clothing. There is plenty of hiking in the area and you are only 20 minutes away from the lake. The nature around is amasing.
The nature around is amasing. You can get there only bu car and driving narrow mountain roads can be a little bit stressful. But overall the national parks are an amazing place to spend a weekend or even a week.
There isn't a lot of places to eat or buy food, so you need to plan ahead. But a lot of accommodation options have kitchecns or grills.

Mitrovac is a small place , we can say heart of the Tara...
Mitrovac is a small place , we can say heart of the Tara mountain.
It good location for start point for hiking trails to one of the best view point in Serbia - Banjska Stena ( 9 and 9a Trail). Also you can choose trail to Zboriste one of the top point of The Tara. Also is close to the Oslusa and Sokolina where you can find nice view points. Lake Zaovine is also near Mitrovac just ahead from the Mitorvac.
Nic place also for mountain biking.
For family Mitrovac gives quiet place and nice field for kids game, few education trails.

Last time I was at Tara, I was staying at Mitrovac na Tari...
Last time I was at Tara, I was staying at Mitrovac na Tari and I can say I much prefer Kaludjerske Bare. There is more to see, more to walk arround, there are lovely hiking and walking trails called Trim staza and Staza ljubavi near hotel Omorika. You can also drink good coffee in the garden of hotel Javor and eat cheap meals right next to that, in express restaurant.
Unfortunately, for more you will have to travel by car since public transport on Tara is almost non-existing.
But if you are by car, a must-see are ofc Perućac and Zaovine lake, Banjska stena viewpoint, Ladjevac spring, Osluša viewpoint (and drinking coffee at the coffeeshop there with a view), Bilješka stena, waterfall Vrelo, Kruščica, Spajića lake and in the end when heading to Bajina bašta, I reccomend visiting Drina river house and eating in the restaurant Studenac with a view on Drina.

Kremna as a village has not much to offer, but Tara National Park and its surroundings are exquisite. If you want to explore Visegrad, the national park, the different viewpoints, lakes and rivers, Kremna is a good place to stay. There are 3 small, but effective grocery stores on the "main" street, there are 2-3 restaurants, and you have some cocks waking you up in the morning. If you crave for a good Slavic village vibe, you can have it in Kremna!

The lake in tara nature preserve , the lake is very nice to swim and to take lake house and u can go to tara mountains 20 mins by car or to another lake zaovine by 40 mins , some fine restaurants around, and people in that part of country super friendly and welcoming

Sekulići is located at 1300 m above sea level.
Sekulići is located at 1300 m above sea level. Surrounded by forest and beautiful nature, it is an ideal place for walking or cycling. Just a few kilometers away is Zaovisnko jezero, Mitrovac, Bajna bašta and Drvengrad of world-famous movie director Emir Kusturica.

A good quiet place for relaxing and hiking. The travel on the Osmica railway was excellent. If you travel on public transport, check the schedule on the internet. There is no information near the bus stop, and the bus Vishegrad-Belgrade can have a big delay due to border crossing procedures.

The town is charming with small houses and trees. There is an atmosphere of easy living in the various cafes located in the central park and along the main street. Only a short way from the town, sceneries in the river Drina valley and Tara mountains are magnificent. A specialty is so called lake houses, many of them available for lodging.
