HungaryExceptional host - rare to come across such a tourism professional like Fred. we had a short stay on the island, but he was full of surprises, you have to check it out for yourselves. The property has a cozy room, good utensila and equipment, incl. a washing machine, good wifi, good aircon, private parking spot, nice tour options and good local advice. And not to forget the meals - his breakfast and dinner were prepared and served in a professional, tasteful manner, it is a must to try (Fred is a pro cook btw). We also loved the private swimming pool. The guest bungalow is properly separated, gives enough privacy. Fred has a very useful and efficient alarm system - his dogs. If you dont rent a car, Fred offers the pickup from the port of the airport and has some vehicles for rent as well. The property is easy to find and is situated in a calm neighbourhood.
He also offers some complimentary water to the guests, nice gesture.

PolandSpectacular views! Very helpful and warm staff always eager to make your vacation unforgetable. The area was fantastic especially the lagoon where you could snoorkel and admire underwater life. Our villa was astonishing, aquiped with everything we needed. We will come back for sure!

Nir is a modern-day Gaudi - his vision and creativity have created something so outside the norm that it’s nearly impossible to describe it in a way that does it justice - you just have to experience it. This is not a place for tourists that like international hotel chains and are not really interested in the culture and heritage of the place they’re visiting. However, if you want to experience a living work of art, surrounded by historic artefacts, carvings and tikis collected and created over a lifetime….if you want to shower outside in privacy but with water flowing from the hands of a female statue…..if you want to stay in a luxurious bungalow in the middle of lush forest with stupendous views - then you should go and stay at Rohotu Fare. Nir is one of the nicest and most interesting people you could ever meet and he and his lovely wife have created a true paradise in what is already paradise. From the friendliness of the staff (Dolores and Gérard), to the excellent condition of everything in the unit (nothing broken, damaged, no duct tape or other temporary fixes), to the comfortable bed, linens, pillows, etc. It was all really well maintained and managed. Everything was clean and tidy. The appliances were relatively new (frost-free fridge/freezer, Bosch gas stove top) and worked great. Air conditioning worked great. Big windows with screens, which I preferred using overnight instead of the AC. They have two bungalows on their property, each of them has its own atmosphere. We stayed in the bungalow that is directly connected to the terrace, which is over the water. So you can see the sea directly from the bed. We spent 6 nights on site, almost every day we used the bikes that the owners rent for free (as well as the kayak and paddelboard). Snorkeling by the corals is possible about 30 meters from the bungalow, just a dream. And sometimes we even saw a small stingray from the terrace. It’s right next to the second office of Avis from whom we rented a scooter so it was easy to recharge its battery. Also, the beach that the bungalows have access is fabulous. We snorkelled on our own and saw numerous fish, eagle rays, sharks and turtles. Also, the staff are outstandingly friendly, helpful and kind, all of them. Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there.
