Our stay at The Kailash Boutique Hotel has been nothing less than an exceptional human experience. It is a new hotel with all required amenities. Rooms are clean. The beds are very comfortable. Despite being situated in the busy thamel region, the hotel is away from the noisy streets. All the staff are warm and helpful. Breakfast has a reasonable variety and is tasty. Mr Dol, the Manager is always around the corner trying to provide the support required to arrange for local sim cards, taxi bookings and sightseeing/hikes/treks.

Hotel Yambu is a short ride from Kathmandu airport and in a great location for wandering around the bazaars of Thamel. Raj, the owner/manager is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind. A pot of tea on arrival is very welcoming and he is available to talk about your plans and make onward travel bookings for you. The powerful, endlessly hot showers are fabulous.

Excellent hotel in Pokhara. Excellent hotel restaurant with daily live entertainment, hotel staff exceptionally helpful and always smiling and dedicated. We enjoyed a rich breakfast, fresh French toast, scrambled eggs, raw vegetables, fruit... Peaceful outdoor seating. You literally feel like you are in a comfortable bubble separated from the surrounding city. Food is generally very reasonably priced, more expensive alcohol is a matter of Nepal in general. Perfect air conditioning, clean toilet, daily cleaning, possibility to make coffee, fast internet of course. English as a language of communication is a matter of course. The Barahi chain of hotels is very similar and the services are exactly the same, at a very high level. There is a swimming pool, a bar and places to rest and sunbathe. A 24/7 restaurant is the norm, security at the entrance always greets you and directs you if you ask for advice. We will definitely return to the hotel next year and can only recommend it. In terms of price, it is at the level of ordinary hotels in Prague, but in general incomparably better.

Loved everything about The Kathmandu Guest House, it's no wonder it's so famous. A respite from the hectic Street life, yet in the centre of everything. Beautiful room with balcony ( I was upgraded) lovely lobby to relax in, beautiful gardens, outdoor and indoor restaurant. So many little places to relax in. The service is amazing, everyone makes you feel at home. Exceptional staff. Although it's quiet you are still only 15 mins walk from Durbar Square. Plenty of taxis right outside the gates to take you to Boudhanath etc. Travel desk in the hotel for longer trips. Beautiful gallery on site, rooftop bar, gift shops.

Everything is wonderful at Ganesh Himal. Room rates are extremely reasonable for my 9 night stay in Sept-October 2022. Love the breakfast time in the beautiful garden every morning. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I have also stayed 2N in another more expensive hotel, but still prefer Ganesh Himal so returned after my trek. Will not hesitate to book here again for the future trips.

Pokhara is also an English speaking location. there were many cafes, accommodations, and night clubs amidst the souvenirs shops. and i must say, the local are genuinely so friendly and helpful without being pushy at all. this place has lots of potential as a tourist spot to relax and perhaps grow into a yoga hub.

We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. It's been ages since I was in Kathmandu and I hear it's...

It's been ages since I was in Kathmandu and I hear it's gotten busier. Bhaktapur is a laid back option--lots of history and lots of local life at the same time. It's a walking town for travellers and you learn how to instinctively avoid the scooters. Pretty much every building has a rooftop Cafe of some sort and the views are spectacular. There's a little hustle from guides for hire in Durbar Square but they're pretty knowledgeable and the hustle is very gentle. If you're not interested, you can politely refuse and that will be the end of it. Given a choice, I'd pick Bhaktapur over Kathmandu as a place to hang out.

People in Kathmandu are friendly and helpful. The weather was fair for this time of year. A lot to see and take in. Shopping, eating all the very delicious Mo Mo soaking in Jhol. All the Temples, Shrines, breathtaking mountains views, and of course Mount Everest.

Pokhara is my Hometown, but I always stay abroad & when return Pokhara, it's never enough. Heaven of earth, I never imagine any other places more beautiful, amazing & wonderful then Pokhara.

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.
