Nothing that you expect as the European about Lagos reading blogs and other traveling forums is true. This city is safe, friendly, modern, and welcoming. The same is true with the Riggs Embassy. It can be called apart hotel due to its size, it has a nice pool and a good location. The staff is extremely friendly, kind, polite and helpful. Staff here were amazing, they were so helpful, nothing was a problem. I travelled to Nigeria from Australia to meet up with my husband and our friends. Exceeded our expectation! Property is superb and very comfy for a family holiday. It is close to local shops and easy to get around. Host was always handy to help.
