The only thing which was not absolutely perfect was the side sea view from our room on the 10th floor, we could see sea only partially, the rest of the view was to the roof of the hotel annex. But still it was nice to see the buildings on the other side of the bay, especially in the evening when lighted up. The receptionist of the hotel was very friendly and we had a nice little chat with him which made us feel like really welcomed. The hotel has high standards of service. Breakfast was enjoyable, good variety, fresh omelettes and pancakes are prepared by the cook, nice fresh bread. Variety of juices, fried mushrooms, salads, ham and salmon etc. Everything that you could wish for breakfast. Location was excellent, even closer to Valletta old town than we expected. Nice short walk by foot. Although there were some staircases to go up the hill. It was wonderful that the hotel had 2 pools - outdoor and indoor and both were open in February. We have had bad experiences in other hotels where pools are really seasonal and empty. But it was not the case here. We got really nice warm and sunny days approx. 19-20 degrees perfect for sunbathing at the pool. Although, we preferred to swim in indoor pool which was warmer, just 2 steps from outside to reach there. The hotel has its own little marina and we were picked up from there for a day trip. Another convenience that we could not expect. There was a small desk at the reception where day trips were offered, a really nice elderly guy gave a good overview of the possible trips and encouraged us to take Gozo-Comino-Blue lagoon boat trip in February which we really enjoyed. These islands and the lagoon felt like in summer, we even took a short swim in blue lagoon (water 16 degrees). It was very popular, we had a big tourist bus full of people.Guest review bySiretEstonia

The promenade is the biggest pull, as straight away you feel that you are part of the flow. It lends itself to jogging, taking in the sea views, feeling like you are relaxing. Great location from where you can explore Malta. Sliema has a lot to offer: a nice promenade with amazing views of Valletta and lots of shops and restaurants. The beach was clean and sunbeds with umbrellas were great. They even provided a separate towel to lie on. This was a small cost for the use of it all day. The bar and restaurant weren’t part of our hotel but just a stones throw, so perfect. Lots of rocks to lie on and ladders used in parts to get into the sea. St. Paul’s Bay is a pretty town with shops, restaurants, and beachside cafes, easy to get around using ferry and Uber.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Valletta has plenty to offer tourists. There are busses, ferry’s, Uber and Bolt that make getting about without a car very easy. Lots to explore. Malta offers a good public transport, so it is so easy to move around. There are plenty of bars and resturants. Beautiful sea and places of interests to visit via public transport. Although I have been to Mellieha before and it has changed enormously in the last 25 years, I think it is still one of the most charming parts of Malta. There are dozens of bars and restaurants, a fair few of which I have visited and every one was excellent. I could not fault the village in any way I would certainly recommend this as a holiday destination. Although very hilly, I believe that is part of its charm and I have stayed in other parts of Malta, all of which have their own attraction.Guest review byMcLennan - 8.0

Marsakala is a lovely place. The locals are so friendly and helpful. There is a regular bus services that can take you all over the island. Msida is a great location to stay being perfectly placed to visit the busy areas of Valletta, Sliema and St Julian's. The marina is amazing with some of the best restaurants in Malta just a short distance away on foot or by Uber or Bolt. Buses run to all parts of the island from stops within walking distance of the centre. Nice area at the heart of the 3 cities. While the surroundings are similar to Valetta, there is less tourists and more tranquility. Valetta is 2,5Euros and less than 10 minutes away with the ferry that runs every 30'. Plenty of water front eateries, cafes and bars. Not to miss.Guest review byTDARGreece
