The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way - food, location, staff attitude, cleanliness and newness of the room, amenities, spa - everything was top notch and we really enjoyed staying at this hotel - I highly recommend it! It was a very wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel; I met the owner of the hotel, who was a generous and cooperative man. I also met his son, Ahmed, an ambitious young man who also works at the hotel. He helped me a lot to arrange my affairs and facilitate the appropriate means of transportation for me. I thank the employee Asiya who greeted me upon arrival and made everything easy for me, and I thank the restaurant staff for the delicious food and their interest in the guests. Everyone at the hotel is helpful and friendly. They welcome guests with a kind smile, and bid them farewell with a smile and best wishes. The hotel is wonderful, clean and neet. It is close to the transportation station as well as the city center, and is characterized by the beautiful character of Chefchaouen.

location was very good. Breakfast buffet was very varied and you could also order separately for example poached eggs with avocado and toast. The staff where extremely attentive and despite being a buffet would insist on bringing you your coffee and toast etc. Very service minded which adds to the experience. The service was excellent across the property. We ate at the Persian restaurant and drank the local Moroccan wine which was very good. We used the excellent spa facilities, including massage which were relatively good. Cleanliness 10/10.

    The staff were extremely friendly and polite. We had room service twice a day with all towels and sheets changed every day. Everything was very clean and well organized. The manager and staff were coming to our table every day to say good morning have a chat give us some tips for the day. Nabil, the hotel receptionist sent us massages in advance of our arrival and sent a very nice oil burner to our home address to make up for few minutes delay during our checkout. Very good experience.

    The Medina is close to beach and promenade is amazing for walking.The inside of the Medina is very easy to walk around since the city walls are next to the sea and port . There has been massive investment in the marina which is a joy to walk in the evening.

    The medina was really nice to wander through and we liked the fact that it went right down to the ocean. The murals on the walls made it unique and it was nice to discover new ones. The small beach was easy to get to and it was easy from Asilah to get to the airport. A nice stay which was a very different experience to staying in Tangier

    I already went to the hotel with my colleagues for a conference, and I liked the venue so much that I wanted to take my kids there, too. The place is large and very welcoming. The view of the pool, gardens and sea is really breathtaking. The rooms are large and comfortable. The included breakfast is really good and the service is excellent. There are two little things I did not expect, which disturbed me a little but would not change my positive opinion of the place. First, during the check-in, I was asked to add a further amount than what was proposed on my booking, as a deposit for any extra service I may ask for. Because I wasn't ready for that, I didn't have the full amount on me, so that was a bit awkward and uncomfortable for me. I had to sit in the lounge and figure out a way to have the missing amount transferred to my bank account. On the check-out, I was told that they'd return the deposit amount to my account, which hasn't happened yet, so I'll have to wait and see. I would have appreciated knowing about this procedure here on booking.com to avoid the unpleasant surprise on the spot. The second thing was a small leak in the toilet. I would have appreciated some sort of a mop or cleaning towel ready and available in the bathroom, meanwhile the leak gets fixed, so that I would manage the leak before it built up and avoid having to ask or wait for the hotel cleaner to show up. Having said this, I'm still very happy with my stay at the hotel, rank it 10, would definitely go back there and recommend it to my relatives and friends. Thank you!

    The ancient site of Lixus is amazing and makes going to Larache worthwhile. The Plaza Espana in the modern town is very atmospheric. There are a few rather run-down hotels in this area. The Medina is quite small and easy to navigate - but it is very squalid. A daytrip from Asilah to Larache and Lixus would be the best bet - overnight is difficult.

    The little town is worth visiting for one hour. The location is ideal. This is the nearest hotel to borders. You should really avoid it, unless you are broke and want to spend the night for 15 euros. There can't be place like this. It reminds me of India.

    the place was well developed, weather was excellent, food...

    the place was well developed, weather was excellent, food and people were great. We hired a car to get around so not sure how good the taxis or public transport was. Payments and hotel facilities could better accommodate disabled guests. Some really excellent hiking areas.
