Bed 1.80, pillows, mattress were very comfortable. The room had everything you needed including a kettle, coffee and tea. Our windows overlooked the street with tram lines and I was afraid that it would be noisy in the evening and in the morning, but the trams could not be heard. The windows were large but the curtains blocked the light very well and we could sleep. There is a pharmacy, grocery shops, clothing stores, fast food. Bus and tram stops at 100-150 meters. About parking. Parking of the hotel costs 18 euros per day, this is a good price, considering that in the nearest parking lots the price is 35 or 44 euros per day. We arrived in an electric car and charged the car in the Fort Niepperg parking. I wasnt there long, an overnight stop with a morning walk into the town. The petrol prices were pretty reasonable and there was a decent supermaket and mini mall at the bottom of the town. If staying for a short break I would probably get a hotel in Luxembourg City, as although all transport in the country is free its stops at 2300. The castle was interesting and there is commentary if you want to listen about the history . There is a lift for disabled access. The river is very scenic to walk along and sit by it and lots of history commentary along here too . Interesting with the fish sculptures along it. Luxembourg has so much to offer.
Luxembourg has so much to offer. Take advantage of the free transportation. You may have to rent a car to get to more remote locations; like Vianden Castle or Mullerthal. It's a wonderful place.
It's a wonderful place. Luxembourg City itself can be explored in a day or two, so if you're planning a longer stay, be sure to rent a car and explore the rest of this magnificent country. Luxembourg City is beautiful, clean, and safe. It's worth walking around the impressive fortifications, seeing the cathedral, the ducal palace (open in summer), and the beautiful townhouses. If you have more time, you can visit the museums: I especially recommend the Municipal Museum and Fort Thüngen. An unforgettable experience!Guest review byBartlomiejPoland
