In the same common hall there's complimentary towels, traditional pajamas and bath stuff to use in your room. We thought our trip, which lasted 2 days was just about right, maybe one more day would have been good. We visited the bomb site and museum on the first day which is a must. The second day we had a trip to Miyajima island which was really worth the effort. We went over on a ferry using our Suica card which also paid for the train. Because I got in late from doing the big bike ride over from Imabari, I was left with little time or energy to explore Onomichi. However, I did do some of the temple tour in the morning and it was excellent. I recommend taking the "ropeway" (I'd call it a cable car) to the hilltop and work your way down.
