Great service, I had the option for early check in and when I arrived they respected my early check in. The process was easy and fast. All the members from the reception, waiter till the chefs are extremely kind and respectful. We had the best room for Petra's view. The room was clean. The food delicious (room service and breakfast). The place is only 3 minutes away from the Visitors Center and Bus Stop. 5 stars for this place.

The nice staffs, helped us a lot. And this hotel also is a restaurant too, so we ate the dinner in there. It taste was great, the tradition Jordan food with large size. And they offer the lunch box with good price, we bought the boxes to take to Petra, it saved our time. Because we had to leave to go to Wadi Rum before sunrise, so they offered the breakfast early, another surprise was after we check out, they gave us the gifts, it was so sweet! -The street is a bit noisy, but this applies to all well-placed hotels.

    Great Breakfast with omelettes, scrambled eggs and a huge buffet. The room had all mod cons and a good balcony with views. The staff were amazingly accommodating welcoming us after a long flight from Australia with tea and croissants then ferried us to the Petra entrance as soon as we asked. We toured Petra twice and to our delight in the morning before being taken to the Petra Gates in the hotel bus we were presented with lunch bags complimentary to make our day just that much better. After visiting each time we were picked up by the hotel mini bus and taken back to the venue after calling them on the phone number they provided again complimentary. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff of this hotel. It was wonderful. To top it off Zayed booked a private transfer for us to Aqaba and as usual with this venue the car turned up right on time. I would recommend this hotel as a genuine quality venue with absolutely committed to service staff.

    I really loved the atmosphere at this place. You can sense it's more familiar rather than just one more hostel. The living/breakfast room is fantastic: lovely and cozy decoration, and the cherry on top is the amazing view over Wadi Musa and Petra. I loved working from this room (the internet connection was excellent, btw - even better than in my bedroom, though some people have mentioned the opposite, apparently). The staff was always friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed the lunch box idea (for 5 JOD) for those who'll spend the day hiking in Petra. Complete breakfast! I'd certainly stay here again if I come back :)

    If you go to visit Petra, forget about staying in Wadi Musa and instead stay at the Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp in Little Petra! You will be amazed! Staff are extremely friendly and caring. The camp offers tents and really cleaned shared bathroom - Breakfast and dinner are a mixture of international and local food and exceeded expectations, plenty to choose from. The atmosphere in the evening, is breath taking : rocks around are lighted and in the communal area you will get unlimited Bedouin tea, enjoying the fire and traditional music. It is a truly little jewel to stay in the Petra mountains!

    We had a wonderful stay at the Dana Guest House. One of the best experience of our life, all the staff is here to make you feel at home, with authenticity and generosity. The view on the Dana Reserve is breathless, especially as you can even enjoy it from your shower! The home-made diner was amazing with a lot of choice. And Salem was an incredible host, with great advices and always paying attention to us. If you come to Jordan, you should not miss this place !

    The hotel is just a couple of minutes away from Petra visitors center. The rooms were very comfortable and they provided us with take away breakfast when we left very early to visit Petra. The free buffet for breakfast and dinner was very good as well, but few warm vegetarian options. However, we asked for a vegetarian soup and they kindly cooked it for us.

    My main reason for booking Petra Palace Hotel was perfect combination of location and price. It takes almost 10mins to get from the property to the main entrance of Petra and on the way there are few shops (grocery and souvenirs) as well as restaurants with local food. Had a nice stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for stay in Petra.

    Fantastic staff, friendly and welcoming, happy to offer u an upgrade if possible, food was lovely, views were epic, we stayed in dome with the en suite bathroom, it was just Great..we were sad to stay just one night and wish we could stay longer. It was only a short drive to Petra . Would definitely recommend.

    Probably my rating or comment is not suitable for every travelers as foreigner but living in Jordan for long time. Definitely, I need 5 star hotels in Dead Sea or Aqaba to refresh myself and my family regularly. But Dana is a great place to also have regular visit as it is located within 2.5 hours range from my home in Amman, and to experience this great nature in reasonable expense. After over 10 years of staying in this country, as a person like to sleep under the millions of stars, Dana is most frequently visited location at the recent years of my life in Jordan.

    we have encountered fraudulent behavior on the part of the accommodation operator. after making the reservation via "booking.com" we arrived to the location - meeting with the resort representative "Ahmad" we were taken to another camp resort ( very old, nor matching the pictures during the booking, empty ) being told that the other "camp" is full... but 1 room could still be found - as long as we're happy to pay double price. We accepted as we're in the middle of desert. But this was clearly deliberate fraudulent conduct. Our recommendation would be for Booking.com not to keep contractual relationship with such accommodation providers.

    The village has been abandoned and then rebuilt as a hotel. It sits above a valley and has a stunning view that goes all the way to the Dead Sea. The very friendly Musaad made sure that everyone felt welcome and helped. He also set up a guide for our trip to the nearby Sela' fortress, which is a very interesting Nabataean site. A beautiful spot away from the crowds of tourists, a chance to see the real Jordan.

    Very interesting place. The Petra complex is unfergottable. We found there some very good restaurants. Examples: My Mom's Recipe Restaurant, Palm Court Restaurant & Cafe, Old Street Cafe & Restaurant.

    The reserve is beautiful.

    The reserve is beautiful. We spent 3 days hiking and hardly saw any other people. Amazing colors and sweeping vistas. Definitely go with a knowledgeable guide to get the best experience. Stay at the Jabal Dana Hotel for great views and amazing food.

    Perfect place to stay in Little Petra, very near from Petra itself with the advantage of being isolated from the tourist crowd Staff is friendly and their recommandations of what; where, how, the do and don't is highly valuable Food was good and diverse ut breakfast can be improved

    Petra is always a magical place in your imagination.

    Petra is always a magical place in your imagination. However it does not compare to the real thing! No matter how vivid your imagination! You need at least two whole days if not three to really enjoy the sights of Petra. We stayed a short distance away from the visitor center closer to the town centre where there are lovely restaurants and a more local vibe. It's better to take it easier and absorb the local culture and ancient history.

    Pay attention to the weather conditions depending on the time of year. We had to abandon the hike due to heavy rain 3 days before (end of February/beginning of March). Our host recommended doing this hike after March 15 and ideally in May.

    Great location right next to little Petra and 5 minutes from...

    Great location right next to little Petra and 5 minutes from Petra. Suggest you take a car to the top (Rear) of Petra and enter near the monastery then walk down hill towards the entrance as it is a big day of walking. Hotel has lovely staff and very helpful. Every night was a large outdoor fire with tea service and music while the hills had lights on them for great photos. Suggest spending two nights in this hotel min maybe 3-4 nights to experience all the surround areas.
