I simply loved it! A beautiful hotel! The staff was extremely nice - we arrived early, so they allowed us an early check-in, then they upgraded our room and also presented us aan amazing fruit plate and chocolates! I would avoid the Salt and Rove Hotel (aka Hotel Elevate by Corporate Suite) - there are hundreds of alternative clean, presentable and welcoming hotels in Delhi! I will be coming back to Delhi to spend more time exploring; my most favorite place this time was the Lotus Temple. Absolutely amazing!! !50% recommend a visit - especially if you are of a spiritual, meditative nature. Beautiful!! Very easy to get around Delhi - just grab a taxi (but ask the cost first before you depart on your journey). I loved Delhi and will be going back!

The city has a few spots that are visit worthy, but rest of it is just a huge village with very poorly designed infrastructure. The roads just flood with tiniest of rain spells and most of the locations would have you fear for your safety during night.

It’s a decent town , with good roads and metro available . Good connectivity to Delhi and NCR. Joins like Barbecue nation and Pind Baruch and many other are near Sarai metro station in reliance mall or crown enterior . One can also enjoy bowling with friends and team members

The bird park is exceptional. So clean and a joy to be in. We saw sooooo many birds. Our guide Rinkesh was very knowledgeable and found so many birds for us. We also saw antelope, deer and a couple of jackal. We decided to walk and were up for the 06.00 opening. We covered about 10km on foot over 4 hours. Wear good shoes or boots if you are going to do this. Rinkesh carried a Japanese telescope with him which was just brilliant for the long distance birds. The plus on going in late April was that although the migratory birds were not there, the water was low so the wading birds were very close.

Alwar has extraordinary architectural treasures and is beautifully situated. However like a lot India it does require patience. The main palace which is now government offices is very badly maintained with litter marring much of the cityscape. That said the art ( in the museum’s unexpectedly good collection of Rajput paintings) and architecture more than makes up for the overall neglect.

Mandir hopping within Goverdhan area was great! Lot of historical things to see and history to soak in! Walking on the well-made pathways for "Parikrama" was perfect! Try doing the parikrama at night [24hrs open]. We went to Radha Kund and Shyam Kund for snan [Holy Dip]! Food in Goverdhan is Pure Veg [No Onion No Garlic] and still capable of being delicious! Very memorable and Great Experience! Highly Recommended!
