- From $288.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,196 reviewsAyana Resort in Bali is truly the best resort I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink, flowers, and a cool, fragranced towel that instantly made us feel at ease. Our stay was in the Ayana Segara ocean-view room, and I was honestly blown away – the room and its view were breathtakingly beautiful. We dined at both Karang and Padi restaurants, and both offered fantastic meals. Padi, in particular, served authentic Indian cuisine, which exceeded my expectations. Every element—the pickle, gravy, flavors—captured the essence of India. Enjoying this food with such a stunning view was like icing on the cake. We also spent time in all the resort’s swimming pools, each offering a refreshing, world-class experience. The Rock Bar was another highlight, with incredible waves and a fantastic vibe. Kubu Beach, accessible by a lift, was also a unique experience. The Resort also offers a dedicated app where we could view a complete map of the resort, explore activities, and browse restaurant options. The app even showed tram schedules, making it easy to travel between different parts of the resort—an incredibly convenient feature. The resort’s hospitality stood out the most. Every staff member greeted us with warmth and politeness, making us feel truly welcome each time we passed by. Everything is so meticulously planned and thoughtfully designed that it left us speechless. If anyone were to ask me what my idea of heaven is, I’d simply say Ayana Resort, Bali.Guest review byShubhamIndia
- From $744.34 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 70 reviewsUmana and their staff are absolutely fantastic! I would stay here for every vacation for the rest of my life if I could. The staff were so kind and helpful; including our own concierge available via WhatsApp to help book travel, excursions, and services at the hotel. The pool was stunning, but our own villa even more so. We had panoramic ocean views that I just could not stop looking at; from our own infinity pool right through the glass doors to our room. I was on cloud nine!!Guest review byWiessnerUnited States

Uluwatu is much more expensive and luxury compared to the rest of Bali. The place is under a massive construction renovation, there are construction site everywhere so it will be very different in a couple of years. We enjoyed our 4 days there but there is definetly less activities except for luxurious cliff restaurant and beach clubs.Guest review byAliceAustralia - 8.0
Great hotel in the middle of some lovely restaurants.
Great hotel in the middle of some lovely restaurants. Rooms are tired in need of upgrades and painting , but were clean and a very powerful shower. Staff were amazing and a good buffet breakfast with fresh omelette/pancakes. Pool area was relaxing and could do with a few more sunbeds. Didn’t get to the beach but a good shuttle service available. Supermarket and ATM just across the road.Guest review byJayneUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Jimbaran is a good place to spend the last days of your trip...
Jimbaran is a good place to spend the last days of your trip — it’s close to the airport and convenient for departure. I especially like the Sidewalk Shopping Centre, where you can find Western food, good coffee, and food giftsto take home. The fish market is also a highlight — it’s the only place where I trust eating local oysters, always fresh. The beach itself isn’t crystal clear like Melasti, but it’s clean and free from rubbish, unlike Seminyak or Canggu. For those who want to see a different, more local side of Bali, Jimbaran is a great choice. Just be careful when choosing accommodation — pick something near the beach and away from the main road, so you can walk easily and avoid the heavy traffic.Guest review byI.BettiblueAustralia - 10
Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle,...
Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle, and North of the Island. I spent a week in Ubud, then a week on the South coast. I could have spent 2 weeks in Ubud, and based most of my travels from there. Beaches in the South are something else, great surf, etc. Things to note which you may not expect. Traffic is mental. Most roads are bad, poorly surfaced, narrow and congested. Most people get around by scooter, which is fine, but be prepared for the fumes if you're doing more than a pop-to-the-shops on one. And the endless 'sell'. I was taking my own picture at a restaurant and was told I would have to pay for it (Rice Terraces) They aren't all like that, don't get me wrong, but they will push it. Fun can be had with haggling, Rule of thumb, offer half their asking price, then work back from there. Be prepared to be followed down the street if you don't buy it. Food is amazing. Try the local dishes, so much better than the same dishes back home. And why would you fly half way round the world to have fish & chips in a different country? And, getting there. Get your visa before going, they have 40-ish automated passport gates, which you can use if you have a digital passport. Use the Gojek App for taxi, or even food and other things whilst you're there (Like Uber).Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10

Uluwatu is a great area in general and recently has evolved into quite more of not just a surf point but also a gastronomic and fashion center of Bali's top towns. A great place to come and take a vacation, all of the beaches are great and the great thing is that there's something for everyone.Guest review byAnonymous - 10

I recommend taking the shortcut on foot from the accommodation – turn left onto the main road, then immediately left again down a narrow alley. This will take you straight to the cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas. Be sure to visit Kelly's Warung at Bingin Beach, try a Pilates class at Fondue Studio, and enjoy dinner at Casa Asia.Guest review byKristinaCzech Republic - 8.0

Parts were lovely and the cliffs around the temple were amazing but be prepared for lots of traffic (especially scooters) so it takes a while to get anywhere and the public bits are a bit grotty. Couple of amazing places to eat (eg Nourish) and plenty of lovely massage options - we went to Zahra. Highly recommend going to a sunset dance performance - absolutely amazing!Guest review byNZ PennyNew Zealand - 6.0

Nusa dua was too isolated for family fun with young kids . We had divided our stay in Symniak and nusa but nusa was too far for evening life , food and fun activities for kids . We enjoyed Kuta and symniak area far more with lots to do for kids .Guest review bysaharAustralia - 10

Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. I can’t wait to visit jimbaran again with my grandson and learn to surf!Guest review byhumphrey - 10
