The best decision is to stay here. 1) The view is Amazing. Mount Agung is so majestic. Early in the morning, there was not a single cloud. 2) The rooms are super comfortable, bright and spacious 3) The staff is super accommodating. They found me a taxi to get back to the city and made sure my luggage was loaded. Walked 1,5 hours to the Besakih temple from the hotel. the scenery is just wonderful.

I had an excellent stay at Lava Sky. The property is very clean and well maintained, with incredible views—especially at sunrise. The staff went above and beyond, lighting the fire for us each night at the requested time and even coordinating takeaway deliveries when needed. When I arrived with a flat bike tire, they took care of it right away. Everything was seamless, and I felt well looked after. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

We recently stayed at starhill kintamani to celebrate a special birthday, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the owner went out of the way to make us feel welcomed and cared for. The room was beautifully prepared—spacious, spotless, and with thoughtful touches that made the celebration extra special. We especially appreciated the birthday present for my kid and the warm wishes from the owner. Our kids absolutely loved the small hot pool, which made the stay even more enjoyable for the whole family. Above all, what stood out most was the outstanding hospitality. The owner was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay enjoyable. This was more than just a hotel stay—it was an experience that turned a birthday into a cherished memory. I feel incredibly lucky to have discovered Hotel Cinze, a brand-new hotel nestled in the beautiful highlands of Batur, Kintamani. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful—far from any noise or distractions. The design of the pool area is aesthetic and calming, but what truly sets this hotel apart is its series of charming hot water jacuzzis. These jacuzzis are equipped with advanced temperature control technology, offering a variety of heat settings. I believe this might be one of the most unique hot spring experiences in Indonesia! My room was located on the upper floor, where I was treated to not just one, but two breathtaking views. As I breathed in the crisp, fresh air of Kintamani, I could gaze directly at Lake Batur and three majestic mountains surrounding it: Mount Batur, Mount Agung, and Mount Abang. The room itself was immaculate—well-furnished with high-quality amenities and modern interior touches. The highlight? Each room comes with a private jacuzzi located right in front of your doorstep, allowing you to unwind while still enjoying the stunning scenery. Although the hotel is still undergoing development and expansion, the experience already feels complete. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything you need. Impressively, the owner is directly involved in overseeing the hotel operations and mentoring the staff, ensuring top-notch service for all guests.

Fabulous views of Mt Batur and surrounding mountains. Very quiet and peaceful. Each villa has its own natural hot spring pool. Staff very accommodating. Restaurant at the villas, so no need to go elsewhere for food. Staff arranges activities as requested. We did a boat tour of the lake.

Amazing location, magical sunrise Batur without the need of jeeps or long trekking. Outdoor bathtub with a view. Middle of nature and away from busy road in an farm field with oranges, banana avocado and more. Friendly staff/owner. Sign pondok Devana pretty small just look for Warung Mina and its next door :)

We absolutely loved our stay in the jungle, completely secluded from society. The tranquility and natural beauty of the surroundings were incredible. Waking up to the stunning view of Mount Batur was a highlight of our experience. It was the perfect escape for relaxation and connecting with nature.     Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas. We did the sunrise hike at Mt Batur and it was truly an amazing experience. We went to the hot springs after our hike and it was the best to soothe our muscles after the hike. If you are looking for a quieter area with beautiful volcano views and nature, then I definitely recommend spending some time there. Highly recommend Wayan Kitchen & Bar for a delicious meal and affordable Indonesian wine.

    Radek took me around on his bike and suggested places to visit, I didn't have a bike so it was super useful! It would definitely be easier to have my own bike, but I didn't miss out on anything because the helped me.

    Many restaurants and chill place.Beautiful perfect picture overlooking the mountains. Love the weather in kintamani.Must try their local delicacy. To get here is best to have a local guide that can drive you around.Many hotspring to visit.

    The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and well kept. The pool is excellent with picturesque views. Flies are the biggest problem for the area but there is not much can be done about that, given the vegetation in the region. The pre-dawn trip up Mount T Batur to see the sunrise is thoroughly worthwhile, as is the Jeep trip which followed to the black lava site. Had one night out in Kintamani for a meal but other than the mountain trip there is not much to do there. Couple of days there is my recommendation.
