It was very nice, clean, comfortable. One of the best places I have ever been before. The staff was very kind, they were very flexible. Newly opened Scandinavian style Hotel with a really friendly atmosphere and stuff incl. hotel manager. Halfboard with great hungarian type food. Well isolated double room, comfortable beds. Sauna, relax and Spa area for ca. 8 people is really comfortable, they arranged about 2 hour slots not to be overcrowded. In addition to the spa area there is an outdoor sauna and 2 extra wooden hot tubs as well for enthusiasts. The surrounding garden of the Hotel is well-kept, enough carparking lots, two of them with contacts for electric cars.

Everything was AMAZING..Hotel Vinifera is truly an exceptional wellness hotel with outstanding services. The spa area has a lot to offer, many saunas, great pools, the breakfast was one of best we have ever had in such types of hotels. Nice hotel a bit outside of the city. Room is nice, very clean, climatised, bed was very comfortable. Staff is nice and helpful, breakfast was really good. I got some plant-based milk for my coffee when I asked :) There is also a nice terrace where you can just chill and relax.

    I stayed in a renovated room and everything was new and clean, with a beautiful view of Lake Balaton and the park from the balcony. Breakfast was the same every day but offered a wide selection. I personally missed having some bacon and pancakes. Dinners are totally worth it, soft drinks are included. There’s a large paid parking area in front of the hotel, and if it’s full, the staff is very helpful. They speak fluent English. Each floor has a terrace with a panoramic view of Balaton, which is a great bonus. In front of the hotel there’s a large pool, and the hotel also has its own private beach, the whole area is very well maintained.

    Very nice place with great people around who guarantee a perfect stay. The view and the wines are 👍 The breakfast is also good, but we missed the dinner, the hotel doesn’t have any. But we got some nice recommendations from the personnel and were pleased with the restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend to stay here and enjoy a summer weekend together with your loved ones.

    I found service in Balatonfüred uneven.

    I found service in Balatonfüred uneven. The low point was restaurant Il Lago at the lakefront: despite looking inviting, the service felt dismissive and the prices were high for what we received. If you don't speak Hungarian, expect German to be the main language while English is less widely used.

    Esztergom is a beautiful historical town. People are friendly here, as in most of Hungary. Excellent shopping and dining options. Sometimes there is a problem with parking down in the city. Very good parking options around the basilica.

    Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence.

    Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence. I recommend visiting outside the main tourist season. The prices are higher, but the place offers an excellent starting point for walking, cycling or car tourism around Lake Balaton.

    Veszprem is a small city, with some very impressive architecture, and interesting history. Also a nice place to just explore . The area along the riverside which passes the bottom entrance to the zoo then reaches a really nice park is a favoured walk for us . The centre has a good selection of restaurants catering to a variety of tastes and budgets . One thing to be aware of is that lunch is the Hungarian main meal of the day , therefore we have a couple of times tried to get a meal a bit later on the evening , depending on the time of year or day of the week that has sometimes been hard to find . Getting around , we can walk anywhere it’s a compact city . We generally get a lift from family to and from Station, after that we walk , if your fairly fit and can walk for about an hour I think you won’t need public transport but it is available if required . We are 3 adults so can’t say what children would like other the zoo and ice cream shops which are very good .

    The old city centre is a 1000 years old, so it might worth a few walks :) The rest of the it is like any other socialist city. There are some pretty good restaurants around, worth a try, especially when they have traditional dishes. Also worth checking out: the small airfield Börgönd: 10 minutes away with car, and you can book a parachute jump, or a pleasure flight :)

    Nice, small city with (paid) beach at Balaton lake. Full of tourist in the centre(parkings also paid) but if you go uphill - towards hills - you can find not only delicious wine but relaxing atmosphere.

    Nice Forrest what gives joy to visit, and very nice hotel in the heart of the city. Hotel Arpad is the best choice. Places to eat with nice food all around the city. Turul bird as the city’s attractions with the cave must sees.

    Esztergom is not a big city and it gives opportunities for travelers to walk to most of the sights. The importance of the city on the Danube was high and it is rich in history. The seat of the head of the Hungarian Catholic church is in Esztergom and the cathedral is stunningly beautiful with a cafe in the dome part, which provides uncomparable view of the city and the surroundings. I would visit again if I have opportunity!
