When we arrived late, after 9 pm, following a long and tiring journey to the island of Brač, the restaurant staff kindly organized a quick dinner for us – many thanks for this! We spent most of our time by the sea, swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Zlatni Rat and enjoying the peace and beauty of the island. We are not new to the Adriatic, but here we truly felt the unique advantages of the island – the climate brings a pleasant coolness even in August, making the stay even more comfortable. Bol is the perfect place to fully enjoy the taste of Adriatic cuisine in local restaurants. With half board, having breakfast and dinner at the hotel and lunch in the charming local eateries turned into a real gastronomic celebration. The terrace is a huge plus, there were even outside curtains for more privacy. The beach is literally less than 70m away from the furthest of houses and even during the busiest season felt quite empty and not overcrowded at all. You can call Uber / Bolt and get around easily without having to drive your car around all nearby locations and discover other lovely beaches and coves. We're rating this accommodation a 10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone. The breakfast was nice with a lot of options,. The best thing was that you can choose whether to go (you can pay on the spot) or stay in bed longer and don't have to worry about your prepaid breakfast. :) The pool closer to the houses was open 24/7 so you could go for a quiet night swim and opposed to the other one that was closer to the reception it was empty most of the time, which made it our "private" pool.Guest review byMilanCzech Republic

Then, the location was excellent, views were exceptional, free sunbeds, all inclusive drinks during breakfast and dinner, rooms were small but functional and clean. My mom’s had the best birthday ever since they provided me with a small cake and they helped me arrange a bouquet of flowers as well, so my mom had the best time there so did the whole family. The location was great. We walked everywhere. The bed was so comfortable. The 2 flights of stairs were tough with 3 bags of luggage but other than that, it was wonderful. Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants on the beach walk. You really need a hire car if you want to more than stay on the beach all day every day. Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom even when it’s deep. The water is so clean it’s almost unreal, like swimming in a giant natural pool. If you love pristine beaches and amazing water quality, this place is absolutely worth it. The only downsides are that getting into the water can be a bit tricky since it’s rocky rather than sandy beaches. Difficult to access. Direct ferry to Bol cancelled at last moment due to poor conditions. Had to change to car ferry to Supetar. (Do not know if we will receive a refund) Also ferry to Hvar which I wanted to use was cancelled. Otherwise Bol is a loverly town.Guest review byDawe - 10

Makarska Riviera is a beautiful destination.
Makarska Riviera is a beautiful destination. Croatian government removed the tool boot fee from the Saint Ilija tunnel and travelers can shorten their travel into the mountains and back significantly and save some money. You have different restaurants so you can pick what you like the most. It is easy to navigate around Tucepi and visit other spots. Sport activities are heavily affected by heat but you always have the swimming and other activities, like boating, parachute gliding and such.
