- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 174 reviewsThis property is perfectly situated right by many restaurants , a super market , the best beach on the island and also the taverna on the property is amazing. The view and facilities are wonderful! However, the best part is the staff. There was no problem to big or too small for them. They looked after me so well. I had a small issue with the bed and within minutes they solved it. I ended up leaving early as my family was staying far however, we all wished we stayed there. The staff and the vibe of the hotel is amazing !! I couldn’t recommend it enough.Guest review byJadeSouth Africa
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 221 reviewsThis hotel grants you access to a private beach that is one of the most beautiful on the island. If you want to wake up and go for a swim, this is the place. Staff was remarkably friendly and accommodating. All our issues were addressed in a helpful and engaged manner. We stayed during the recent storms and I was particularly impressed how hard the staff tried to help orchestrate our return home. We would not have made it without their connections and efforts. We will visit again!Guest review byalexisSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 194 reviewsWe cannot say enough about how fantastic The Skopelos Village Hotel was during our stay. The staff was amazing. We were treated like family in the good way. We stayed in the House and absolutely loved it. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. The grounds are meticulously kept and they even have their own garden for fresh spices. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual and the location is perfect.Guest review byScottUnited States

Skopelos island is absolutely amassing, the beaches the views are breathtaking. Skopelos town is very pretty. We had dinner in family run taverna on the end of Skiatos port. It was best food that we had in Skiathos and Skopelos. On the top of it there was live music. Fantastic experience .Guest review byMariannaUnited Kingdom - 10

Getting to the island was a little bit of a challenge but very much worth it. The beaches around the island are absolutely beautiful with crystal clear waters, and they are a short drive away from Stafylos which makes it an ideal base location. Moped and car rental is very cheap, we rented a moped for 12 days which cost around £140. The island was of course one of the filming locations for Mamma Mia! so if you are interested in visiting them there are tours available, but I would personally recommend doing some research before you visit and explore yourself. The Chapel of St. John is one location that is in particularly beautiful, and I would recommend visiting around dusk as the sky is like a painting. The town offers amazing places to eat and drink, depending where you go the prices vary but there is lots to choose from, I would recommend Kochylis bakery and patisserie for breakfast and lunch, and there is a food van near in the evenings that offer a traditional gyros that are cheap for the portion size. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, truly beautiful place that I would happily visit again/Guest review byChristopherUnited Kingdom - 10
Panormos is maybe the best spot on Skopelos island, great...
Panormos is maybe the best spot on Skopelos island, great natural beauty and facing south-you can swim with all weathers, meltemi included! Many nice restaurants, friendly people, quiet and cool spot is you are not located on the main road. Try the Kraken, certainly, for food and drinks! Try the Espresso for all-day delights, try Linarakia, Nikos, Yiannis and Vasiliki restaurants for quality greek food. Frequent connection with the port by decent, airconditioned busses, too. The only disadvantage is maybe the very road that brings you to Panormos, as it runs across it and one has to be very careful, either when driving through or when crossing on foot to the sea. If you have a choice, avoid the month of August, at least the first 3 weeks of it ...Guest review byRANGOUSSI - 10

If you want a stay to relax in a gorgeous village high in the mountains with amazing views easy access to the magnificent beaches of Skopelo this is the place to stay. The apartment is like a little cottage clean and has all amenities even an external laundry. You will not want to leave and the host is very accommodating not that you will need her my experience with the host was the introduction to the place she was very thorough showed us every nook and cranny. The village has two mini supermarkets and a few restaurants/tavern, and a gorgeous bakery.Everything is walking distance. This village is super stunning the locals very friendly. Total quiet during the night, waking up to the noise of roosters, church bells and the smell coming from the bakery.Guest review byHelenAustralia - 10
Neo Klima is a small pretty little town about halfway...
Neo Klima is a small pretty little town about halfway between Glossa and Skopelos Town. It's sunset central in our opinion! It's very much a locals town with small supermarkets and a superb bakery with cakes and pastries to bust your waistline, and a great selection of bread. It's small enough to stroll around with lots of narrow passages and alleys. The restaurants are traditional and authentic taverna style, we highly recommend Manolis in particular. There's also a great bar at the seafront close to Hovolo beach called Madalaki for coffee and snacks, and they do a great Mojito! It's much busier during July and August with some great watersports available along the seafront, and parking is really easy and free. It's almost deserted during the low seasons. The area close to the harbour arm where the yachts moor has a real village ambience where locals hold events for the community. The piece-de-resistance has to be the backdrop to Neo Klima - it is bright green pine and cypress forest that tumbles down to the sea on all sides, and the fresh pine fragrance is intoxicating.Guest review bydarrenUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Exploring Glossa is an absolute joy if you enjoy taking photos, it's very beautiful. Unfortunately, despite visiting mid-May, many of the tavernas had yet to open for the season. One fabulous find was Rouga, warm welcome and lovely food.Guest review byValerieUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Agnontas is a beautiful, clean small village set among pine trees and mountains. A small bay with a lovely beach and crystal clear waters, sailing boats and fishing boats. The village only boasts a general store and three Taverna, local homes and some with accommodation for guests, Close enough to Skopelos Town by bus or taxi, within walking distance of Limnonari beach and natural beauty hiking paths. This village is quiet and peace-filled. The three Taverna offer both authentic Greek food, Seafood and one offers a fusion-variety of Greek food.Guest review byFionaGreece - 10

The town is really interesting, from the bustling front full of bars, shops and cafes, to the car-free old town up flights of stone steps. Lovely old archictecture in the old town, some very good restaurants lower down. The walk up from the far side of the harbour gives beautiful sea views and. a glimpse of old Skopelos. There are lots of buses to nearby beaches and large villages - also very beautiful. Lots of cat feeding stations provided by volunteers see pics.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Very scenic location with one of the most beautiful and accesible beaches on the island and a very good and affordable restaurant with incredible view. On the downside is that the beach is quite narrow and every day or so the passing sea jet will cause huge waves which sweep away everything that sits on the beach. Also, beach bar is very expensive with a very basic selection of foods and drinks.Guest review byDIMITRIOSGreece - 10
From the owners to the accommodation I just cannot fault.
From the owners to the accommodation I just cannot fault. I just loved everything about this place and the people in Skopelos, that it will stay in my heart forever. I was staying by myself but the owners just took me under their wing and I felt really safe and cared for.Guest review byGeorgeAustralia
