From the first day until our last in the hotel the staff was always responsive to our needs, always asking if we needed anything, very friendly from the receptionists to the cleaning ladies. Very clean private beach, spotless sand, quick sunbed service and comfortable sunbeds. Rooms with a high quality standard, modern and always clean. both breakfast and dinner were varied, for all tastes and from all international cuisines. We also want to mention Liana, from the guest relations service. She was so great with us. Ask her about anything you want or can do in the hotel or outside the hotel. She will help you with everything! For sure we will come back to Nautilux!

Great location. There is a supermarket nearby and quick access to two beaches. A comfortable room with absolutely everything you need for your vacation. You will feel the utmost hospitality. Excellent modern - antique design! Beautiful in every detail! Very helpful staff (Tonia) with a lot of information and addresses, even though we did not meet in person during our two day visit. We got the entrance code and everything else was easy. We had an impression that the whole building is just for us. Unlimited access to coffee, water, fruits, etc. Simply perfect!

    We loved the outstanding hospitality from the moment we arrived – the staff was always attentive and greeted us with a warm smile, regularly checking if we needed anything. The à la carte restaurant (Chef’s) was absolutely delicious, accompanied by wonderful live music. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with its variety and quality. We stayed in three different types of rooms, all of which were comfortable and well-maintained. The pool area was fantastic, and the entire hotel was exceptionally clean throughout our stay.

    The location of the hotel is just very close to old Resmo, and port. The rooms are comfy and breakfast has all the options for anyone from any place of the world. Before choosing this place I read some comments but I value my experience. I saw some saying it was not clean etc. However, the hotel needs some restoration that's for sure but it has nothing to do with cleanliness. Doors and some furnitures should be renewed that's all. I liked its location, I liked staff smiling faces, I liked my bed.

    Kalypso resort was such a surprise for us! It's a breathtaking place through rocks and deep sea...we loved it! The staff had a very kind behavioral approach and made us feel at home!     The service level was very high. We found everything which was needed for us and more. We had a lot of options for more kind of restaurant and the 'main' restaurant was fantastic.     Like many Cretan coastal towns and villages, Rethymno is overwhelmed by us tourists. It's distressing to walk very crowded mediaeval streets surrounded by souvenir shops. The famous bakeries are wonderful and the harbour is really beautiful. Parking has been addressed but the experience is still not pleasant. We found having a drink and a light meal on the waterfront a joyless experience, crowded area and surly service. I would recommend Rethymno for a quick visit to see the Old Town bakeries and the Harbour.

    A very good base for very many superb beaches in southern Crete, with a nice beach within the town, some great shops and very good eating options both within the town and the surrounding villages. Not spoiled by mass tourism as many other places in the island, yet neither too remote and hard to reach. Just perfect.

    Adorable, quaint and full of charm.

    Adorable, quaint and full of charm. At night the village centre close the roads, bring out the tables and chairs and the streets are filled with the sights, smells and sounds of Cretan joy. One of the places I will miss the most and can’t wait to return too.

    A small vibrant fishing village which offers plenty of restaurants and accommodations. The beach is clean but a little small. Water is clean with access via a short walk from the village centre. It is quite hilly and may present problems for certain visitors. Evenings are very lively with many restaurants and some shops. It is centrally placed for journeys to others beaches and destinations such as Matala, Spili and so on.

    Our main. reason for visiting the area was because we were attending a wedding. I did find that Adelianos Kampos was located near to a lot of pick ups for tours around Crete to allow you to experience other areas around the island. Many places to eat around the area, but none that really stuck out for me that I would recommend. Just walk around the area because there is much to choose from.

    I really like Platanes, it's not too far from the busy Rethymno centre and slightly more relaxed than being near the main areas, but still has nice restaurants and beach bars etc. and good access to main roads etc. if you like to get out and adventure without getting stuck in congestion, which can sometime be found neare to centre.

    Very near the sea. 2 very good supermarkets, bakery and chemist. Good restaurants. Not hectic busy so excellent for relaxing break.Local villages of Asteri and Chamalevri within walking distance. As is Pagkalochori which has Asani monastery. Wonderful authentic Cretan experience.

    It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the beach road you very quickly arrive at the next village that has a mini market and 3 or 4 tavernas. It's not for people looking for nightlife and shops. A car is needed to get there and to be able to go to bigger town with shops and other sights of interest. Our favourite places in Rodakino were Korakas beach cafe; Super market Zafeirakis where the lady was friendly and helpful and Nikos & Anna Taverna. Just a little further away the taverna at Peristeres beach is definitely my favourite place to eat.

    The villa is well placed and suitable for up to 4 people. The local cafes and tavernas provide great food and drink at reasonable prices. The beach is lovely and less crowded than the naturist beach which looked very busy. We used Damnoni water sports for paddleboarding and kayak and they were excellent
