I really enjoyed my stay. Room was clean and comfortable, location is good and close to the train station, staff was really kind and helpful - a specifically the morning dining room staff and Nagia in the reception who was assisted with everything with a great smile. For sure I'll stay here again on my next travel to Piraeus.

Great hotel, very close the old town of Monastiraki Square which was only a few meters from the hotel, easy and fast check in/out, 24-hour front desk was available too. Hotel was close to several noted attractions, such like Omonia Square, Ermou Street-Shopping Area and Syntagma Metro Station. Definitely will be back for more days! Thank you all for everything!

I’ve been staying at 4 and 5 star hotels, either leisure and business occasions, over more than 20 years sometimes for short, sometimes for very long stays (over a month) and what I can say about this hotel is that here I saw some of the best staff I’ve ever seen working in an hotel. Ms Peggy at the restaurant was a star, very much client oriented, sunny but also extremely professional and prepared, she was one of those people you can notice straight away if it’s their day off! She is one of those people whose work is infused with innate qualities that are so rare to find in staff, especially nowadays, and that can hardly be taught with training. An employee to treasure! Ms Zikela at the restaurant and Ms Maria at the bar were amazing with service and so sweet and attentive with our 2 years old girl. Reception staff was outstanding, especially Katarina, who often went the extra mile and Paris, who made us feel at home. Both absolutely own the main qualities you would look for in a front of house, again two employees to treasure… Housekeeping was so extremely nice and hard working, they made us feel at home as swell. Both my husband and I are very happy with this hotel, we will definitely come back and recommend it. Cristina and Harry.

My second time staying here and I love this hotel! Everything is brand new, smells amazing, bar and restaurant attached (breakfast is soo good), convenient for early morning ferry, SUPER HELPFUL STAFF, comfy beds, it’s everything you could want in Piraeus for ferry travels to the islands and is so reasonably priced especially compared to staying in Athens center. Emily at the front desk deserves a special shout out because she went above and beyond to store our luggage for us even after we returned from our island hopping and weren’t even guests any longer. She also helped get us a taxi that night to our airport hotel. Emily deserves a raise and promotion!! :) They didn’t have to be this helpful and hospitable but they are. Everyone who works here is incredible (thanks for the Hondos Center recommendation for the best Greek beauty products in a pharmacy!) We are already planning our trip back for next summer and will be staying here again for a third time.

We were in Athens 3 nights only in September. It was summer, busy and hot. We loved the Plaka, the Acropolis and the food. The people we met were fun, warm & welcoming. The Hop on Hop off buses were good for getting around and for a quick look of the city.

My online info about Tinas Village was exactly what the place was all about. The pick up and return to the airport was great and accurate. The rooms were exactly as expected, everything was clean. The breakfast was fine, not super fancy but better than was we were expected. Not much to do there, sleep, relax and go to where you are planning to go. Everyone working at Tinas was nice to deal with, great experience.

    The property was spotless.

The property was spotless. The ower was suportive and offered the transfer to the international airport because there was taxi industrial action at the time. The appartment was very close to the sandy beach. And you may find a very nice bakery round the corner and many shops. To sum it up I intend to return to this property again while traveling .

The island is very touristy. The tourists are concentrated in a limited area. There seem to be more tourists than Greeks. The Greeks servicing the tourists seemed to be overwhelmed and many did not appear to be friendly.

This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting.

This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting. The beaches, although there is some sand, are very stony, and beach shoes are recommended. We went on a boat trip to navigate the island, taking a route that circled the entire island. It was a small boat and we were driving it ourselves. The day was slightly windy, and the sea we didn't realise was quite rough once you moved away from the beach. We only lasted one hour of the four-hour trip booked. It would have been better to have been warned that the sea would be rough, as we would have chosen another day for our trip. There are many boats, including sailing, charter, and private vessels, visiting Poros, making the port very busy. The boats were fascinating to watch. There are numerous excellent tavernas, and they are not expensive. They serve a variety of local dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. The boat transfer from Athens takes only one hour, and the ferry operator is very prompt. I recommend a visit to Poros.

We stayed in the very comfortable harbor area of Aegina Town. Just a 40-minute ferry from Athens' Pireaus port. Ancient sites to visit. Lots of harbor restaurants for beverages and dining. A relaxing way to settle in from international travel before our extended tour of Athens and the Peloponnese tour. Would have been a great wind-down stay afterward too.

    I rented a scooter.

I rented a scooter. Near the Orloff there is a very good bakery to buy a Tyropita to bring to the beaches in case one still wants a snack after the incredibly good breakfast. One of the most beautiful beaches is Agia Paraskevi. Other people go by bicycle or Elettric Bicycle, some walk, some jog. There are incredible places to discover. All choices for dining out according to your taste. I liked traditional Greek food at a tavern called Bouboulina, but I explored a lot.

a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking. Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.
