A gym with a 25-meter pool and steam room is in the building next door, 5 minutes walk. Swimming caps and towels they provide for free at the gym reception counter. The hotel is located is not very far from the city center, as it seems on map. There’s about 20-30 minutes taxi ride to the city center. The price is about 15 GEL. Or there’s a bus stop in front of the hotel. About 10 minutes ride to the nearest metro station. The staff is very friendly. Very nice and compact city. People were friendly and helpful, and generally everyone spoke good or at least passable English so it was easy to go to the shops, bars and restaurants. Everything was very reasonably priced around the city. It is good to notice that Tbilisi is pretty hilly, lot of steep rises and lot of stairs, so it is not very accessible if you have mobility issues. Other than that city is very compact and everything is pretty near and reachable by foot. Bolt service works very well for longer trips and public transport is reasonably priced. The hotel: the staff, you can feel that they care for your comfortable vacation. they are so welcoming, especially the lady with short haircut whose name I cant remember, let us know every detail about the hotel when we called for information, then when we arrived, she met us with a warm welcome and said they could upgrade us so we could stay on the upper floor, bigger hotel room, not a budget one that we have booked. Other members of the staff were also very helpful, with smile on their faces everywhere: in the gaming zone, in the reception, the building itself: facilities:indoor swimming pool with outdoor terrace with a beautiful garden and comfy outdoor furniture. Pool is crystal clean, water temperature is warm enough to enjoy swimming even from the first seconds. What is also very important: nobody interrupts you while enjoying your vacation: no loud sounds, you have all the privacy, so you can relax. You have so many things to do here! Even if the weather is bad, you can enjoy your stay: Gaming space: Billiards, bowling, air hockey, table tennis, virtual games, cinema, indoor swimming pool with window on a part of its ceiling, terrace with beautiful garden and nice, not very loud music. Beautiful nature near the hotel: central park is on walking distance (although not very comfortable walk as it is on the central road), but when you come to the park, you can enjoy the forrest-like quiet park with big trees🌲🌲, children can enjoy climbing and other facilities, football stadium. I booked 3 days in April for hiking and it was great.
I booked 3 days in April for hiking and it was great. There are 5+ trails available: - Azeula fortress (8km round trip), - Ghoubani (11.2 km round trip), - Udzo - Turtle Lake - Tbilisi (12 km one way), - Azureti (~10 km one way), - Kiketi (11 km one way). Routes are very clearly indicated. During April there are no restaurants/cafes either in hotel or Kojori at al. But there are several supermarkets to buy food. Tbilisi is a lovely city, with beautiful views from everywhere, nice and helpful people, low prices, a great quality of food, and an attractive cultural environment. Also, a very safe city to walk around, even at night. There are lots of activities (a baloon, a river boat, two cables to go up in the mountain, churches, beautiful and large museums.
