Would have loved spending a few more days exploring this sweet town/city. Interesting shops and restaurants. Would most definitely stay at the Victoria Lodge Guest House again. Sweet accommodations and host. Within walking distance to town centre 10-15 minutes. Also, 20 minute drive to Stonehenge.Guest review byAmy-JoCanada - 10

The people were friendly and the town was quaint and had everything you could ask for in a charming setting. It's a great place for families, as well as a perfect vacation spot. It's location is central to other charming historical towns just minutes away.Guest review byLaurieUnited States - 10
A wonderful historic town well worth a visit for a few days.
A wonderful historic town well worth a visit for a few days. Also an easy commute to Bath via the City's park and ride scheme. Short term car parks are small and often full. However, a very large, longer term car park is located at the railway staion in Zone B. All car parks are free in the evening from 6pm.Guest review byTheTolkUnited Kingdom - 10

It's a great town with many interesting shops and places to eat and drink. It has a good vibe about the place. We found an excellent French cafe/restaurant which was very good . We would have gone back for dinner but it was closed on Monday evenings. Pity.Guest review byChris MobbsUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Warminster is a perfect location to see the many sites the area has to offer, the local train station is convenient to Bath, Bristol and Salisbury all worth a visit for a day. We went out twice for an evening meal, The Lamb at Hindon and The Prince Leopald at Upton Lovell, food was fantastic, but make sure you book ahead it can get really busy.Guest review byjaniceUnited Kingdom - 10

Nice friendly town with lots of pubs and restaurants and independent shops as well as Aldi, Morrisons and a Co Op in the High Street. Car Park in town centre. 5 miles from Stonehenge and 30 minutes to Salisbury.Guest review byBrown - 8.0

The location is great if you are travelling around the area or passing through about 1 mile from the M4. The pub next door which is all part of the complex offers good breakfast facilities as well as lunch and dinner options. Royal Wooton Bassett is about half a mile further on with a busy high street of mostly independent shops .Guest review byMalcolm GrattonUnited Kingdom - 10
The staff were great. The food was excellent.
The staff were great. The food was excellent. The Oktoberfest on the Friday night was great fun with all the community welcoming us. We were upgraded to an apartment which was very big and the bed was very comfortable for my husband, who is 6ft3". But beware of events at the Castle Combe racing circuit as this can cause a long traffic jam with many visitors all trying to get into the circuit at the same time!Guest review byJuliaUnited Kingdom
