Bristol is a city with a lot of buzz!
Bristol is a city with a lot of buzz! It has its rougher edges but that's part of the charm. I loved the amount of street art, the really cool musea, and the overall vibe and amount of cool independent shops.Guest review bynolothotSpain - 8.0

I did not meet any staff on either arrival or departure but had previously spoken to the owner on the telephone who was most helpful. I notice you have a lovely photo of a property in Redhill which people might think is Hathway House! A better map based on walking from the airport is required. Loved the rocking chair & custard creams!Guest review byJudyIreland - 8.0
Lots to do and see for such a small place.
Lots to do and see for such a small place. Great for walking (as long as you don't mind hills) and the castle is spectacular and well worth a visit. Some excellent real ale pubs and plenty of good cafes too.Guest review byKayUnited Kingdom - 10
Outstanding friendly, helpful staff. Excellent service.
Outstanding friendly, helpful staff. Excellent service. Wonderful food. Lovely room prior to us going to the airport. Highly recommended. We left our car there for the week. Caught a taxi to the airport. ThankyouGuest review byheatherUnited Kingdom - 10
Portishead is a very smart town, kept very clean.
Portishead is a very smart town, kept very clean. It has a lovely marina, within easy walking distace of the coast. Enjoy watching the big boats go by at high tide to the docks. Also watchng the smaller boats going in and out of the large lock. It's worth going to the town centre where there is a selection of retaurants. The Indian Empire restaurant in the High Street was excellent. We will visit Portishead again. There is also an excellent bus service to other resorts and Bristol,Guest review byRees - 8.0

There was nothing much where we stayed in the actual village but a Garden centre was nearby for breakfasts and a local store for snacks and drinks and anything else we needed. We spent the day at a wedding held at Tortworth Court which was absolutely excellent for facilities, gardens, views and services. Very beautiful!Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Almondsbury Village is an attractive village with a pub and community shop. The Swan Hotel up the hill, on the by pass road (A38), does good meals. There is a lay by to see the views over the Severn estuary and both bridges from the top of the hill leading down to the village. If you are staying in the hotels on the bypass it's a challenging walk both to cross the dual carriageway and walk up and down the steep hill down to the village.Guest review byPhillips - 8.0

Visiting mid-week I found the choice of places to eat away from the hotel was not great, some pubs were shut or not serving food and the Hungry Horse has a policy of shutting at 10 pm every day other than weekends - loads of Charity Shops but not much else however the easy access to Bath and Bristol by train make Keynsham a good place to stay if wishing to explore the area.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 8.0
