We absolutely loved our stay at The Salt House, the owners are lovely and have put so much thought and care into the property. There were lots of little touches that made the stay special. Our room was really cosy and unique, with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast of homemade granola, and avocado and eggs on toast. I highly recommend this B&B and would definitely stay again.

The front desk went out of they way to ensure a good stay. We requested a room change due to some noise as we had conference calls at odd hours with various countries. They changed our room to the best suitable room to accommodate no noise, including moving our luggage to the other room. Extremely friendly and help full staff.

Inverness is very central to interesting places to visit. There are plenty of restaurants in Inverness within easy walking distance. We particularly enjoyed Johnny Foxes. I love this neck of the woods. Plenty to do if you are an outdoors person or just want a break from busy places. It is a nice laid back location where there is a lot less hassle. Lots of nice food places - either restaurants or take-aways and plenty of shops where you could buy your own food if you don't want to go out. Highly recommended. If the weather is not so good there are plenty of lovely places you can drive to within 45 minutes.

Lovely little shops to walk in and out of. You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.
