The location was perfect to end a day of hiking the West Highland Way. The Tailrace Inn has a bar on the ground floor and the rooms were above. The rooms were cozy and suited our needs. The bar was the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking and have a beer (or two) and a good dinner (make a reservation for dinner if you can). As good was the dinner was, the breakfast the next day was the star of the show with porridge as creamy and good as any that we have ever had. The hotel also provided a delicious packed lunch for us to take away for our next day of hiking. This was a wonderful choice for a place to stay in Kinlochleven.

Hey Folks, I’ll highly recommend this property to choose for your stay there’re a lot of reasons but I’ll tell you few of that. First there’s no Checkin process all online you’ll receive it on Booking.com messages. Is damm easy. There’s no network but you can high speed wifi of property and you can do the wifi calls. There’s three multiple shower and toilets and all always sparkling clean and shiny. Hot water heater also available in every shower areas. One of best thing I really like because I’m foodie, There’s fully quipped kitchen in all property so you can prepare your favourite meals at anytime. All staffs are really friendly helpful. After all my point of view is that, this property is way way batter than other five star property. Thanks for great hospitality. 🙏🏻 Dhanyvad 🇮🇳

People from continental Europe can feel here like at home. No UK typical separated water taps for hot and cold water, but standard, one hand operated water taps - see pics. Water pressure at the shower also normal. Even the thermal-static water tap is used in the shower! Very comfortable. Excellent big windows, neighbors in decent distance, so no problem. Cottage is small, but the rooms layout is very clever, so you don't mind at all. Car parking for free in the cabin neighborhood. Wood burner if you feel cold and for the romantic atmosphere. You can also use electric heating. We enjoyed and loved the stay here and would definitely come again.

The location - view from the sitting room and decking was breathtaking, our son loved the hot tub outside on the decking area. Even though we had a self catering lodge we also used the hotels restaurant several times which served excellent food with stunning views of the loch - prices are reasonable - staff were extremely friendly and approachable.

The hot tub in the room is great after a hard day hiking. We also enjoyed the no-sulfaths, no parabens natural products that were provided in the room, exactly the same as we have at home. Very confortable super king or bigger bed.

Superb. Couldn't have asked for a lovelier accommodation-the view was spectacular, the facilities were amazing, place was cosy, comfortable with all creature comforts & carpark-just a few minutes walk away from waterfall, supermarket, river, etc. Wished we could have stayed longer. Kinlochmore (aka Kinlochleven - the same place give or take a bridge), has an interesting industrial history as well as nestling in the footsteps of Ben Nevis and at the top end of Loch Leven. Watching others on the rapids of the River Leven was fun. Co-op was well stocked and good for lunches. Also a stopping point on the West Highland Way.

Stunning scenery and an interesting visitor center although we would have liked more information about how the people lived here in times gone by and about the Glencoe massacre. There was also a clear lack of toilets for the number of people visiting and the gift shop was more expensive than others we've been too. A walk around nearby Bllaculish and the remains of the quarry also added a little interest to the area. The gift shop had a range of items from cards to childrens toys to souvenirs that seemed a little more reasonably priced.

I went in Glencoe to visit the Glenfinnian Viaduct, well known for Harry Potter's films. Obviously the trail was not in loneliness because is very famous but when I took a look around I noticed many path and trail that I could do and I was sorry to not stay more time over there. Highlans are Highlands an take a bit of time to travel around them.

We found the restaurants such as Moss and the Lochleven Seafood Cafe of a very high standard, everything was close by and the pod accommodation was fun and so well designed for comfort. Even the lady at the petrol station was lovely and jokey. The breakfast at the craft centre was good value and excellent for gifts to take home. It was our first time at Ballachulish, but it wont be our last. Perfect for a weekend get away and ideally suited for longer stays too as the area is spectacular.
