I consider myself a relatively picky person, so when I say that this was easily one of the best resort experiences I've had, I think that really says a lot. This was my first time at an all-inclusive resort, and the staff were incredibly polite, professional, and thoughtful. The room was very spacious, cleaned daily, and our room cleaner always left cute little designs on the beds which I thought added a thoughtful touch. Also the beds were suuuuper comfortable, especially the pillows which says a lot because I'm someone who never uses pillows because I can never find any that are comfy for me and the way that I sleep. I think they also offered like a pillow menu so they could bring you one that best worked for you. There were a variety of food options (I think honestly the Beach Bar restaurant had the best lunch, we went there literally every single day. We also may have developed an addiction to the spicy margaritas lol). The resort itself is very well maintained and absolutely beautiful. There are a series of other resorts next to Alaya and I really felt like we made the best decision in picking this one. It's also easy walking to both the coral and the regular beach. They had events every afternoon and evening so there was always a little something to do for everyone. Overall a great experience and I definitely will be going back!

All the staff were wonderful and smiley. There was diversity of food in breakfast and dinner which was fantastic and delicious more than lunch. There was 2 aqua parks for all ages from children to adults. There was diversity in swimming pools and you can use the pools in The neighborhood hotel for the same management which is Sunrise group now. Last but not least i would like the reservation and reception staff specifically Mr. Medhat, Mr. Amgad and Mariam for good hospitality.

We were one of a hand full of guests for its opening week so portions of the resort were not yet in service. As a wonderful substitute, the resort provided free ala carte meals including daily room service! It was almost like having a private chef and was an experience that will live in our memories! A special mention of fantastic manager, Hady who diligently watched over us daily.

It was absolutely a wonderful stay in Jaz Elite Asteria, The atmosphere, the service, the food, the views, the pools everything was perfect. Ms Massouda is such a caring person, taking care of every single detail of our stay, she is taking hospitality to another level. Kids enjoyed the kids club facilities and activities. We needed a doctor for our little one and we could get it within few minutes. Everthing we needed was available at finger tips, We will come back for sure and enjoy it more

Everything was amazing. Pools are very relaxing, with a good bar. There is also a big jacuzzi . Beach is unforgettable. Snorkeling starts with your first steps in the sea .. more than Wonderful coral reefs , colourful fish , turtles and sea cow . Also a sandy beach is there. Food variety is luxurious. In addition to the buffet restaurant, there is a perfect Chinese restaurant, sushi and Chinese food was amazing. All the stuff are more than friendly, they are exceptional , always caring for our happiness.

from the first minute you will feel the hospitality and welcoming from the staff. firstly, i asked for an upgrade to my room and in less than 2 seconds Mahmoud @ reception said ( for sure we will do) thanks a lot to him. all the staff in every restaurant are amazing with a great smile over their faces. thanks to hossam & borie @ citadel restaurant. also Mohamed @ food court restaurant. beach is very clean put make sure to use swimming shoes pools are very nice and warm it was my wife birthday and asked to get a cake for celebration and the most nice touch from the hotel is providing a cake @ my room in addition to another one in the asian restaurant. special thanks to Mr. Mahmoud (front office manager) for all his efforts and attitude by listening to all my queries and for his help during my stay i highly recommend albatros citadel hotel for your stay , you will never regret choosing it

Staff was very helpful and nice 🙂 especially the customer care Mr Helmy who was keen to help and afford everything to us, thanks to the room services for building 1000 where my room existed, also Kids entertainment mini disco at 8 PM mahmoud and the lady who did it at 29.04 and was there last year as well, shows at 9 PM was nice for families and their kids 😀 👍 food was nice all over the day 😋

The sea and diving scene in Hurghada were exceptional. The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya...

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. Port Ghalib is worth a visit, outside of the AI Hotels. Nice bars, good restaurants and friendly people. On Saturdays there is now a Cruiseship visiting Port Ghalib, hopefully the effects on the reef etc. will be not too negative.

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

The sea was beautiful.

The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

Very nice and friendly locals!

Very nice and friendly locals! Not many tourists, no aggressive salesmen. The city is not rich, so expect some garbage lying around. Prices are generally very low, not adjusted for tourists (except at nearby hotels). We found only a few restaurants, but many fastfood places.

"I did not leave the grounds of the Iberotel Costa Marès. There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen.
