NetherlandsWe would like to give a special thanks to Mostafa, Ahmed, and Abdallah from the pool team, Mina, the bartender at the splash pool bar, and Mr. Ghaly, the manager. They were there for us every day and truly made our stay unforgettable. Thanks to them, our family of eight had an amazing holiday. The service was excellent (10/10) – the staff were extremely kind, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
Mina, the bartender, deserves a special mention as well. He made delicious cocktails and always greeted us with a smile, which made our time at the splash pool bar even more enjoyable.
The housekeeping team also stood out. Every day they surprised us with creative towel art, and the rooms were always spotless. Their attention to detail and dedication ensured that our stay was comfortable and pleasant.
We also really enjoyed the animation team. The activities were well-organized, and the animators were friendly and fun, making every day entertaining for all ages.
Although officially a 4-star hotel, it truly deserves 5 stars. The service exceeded all expectations. The food was diverse and delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised to have free access to all seven à la carte restaurants, which were all excellent. The hotel is connected to the neighboring Le Jardin hotel, where guests can also enjoy the facilities. The aqua park slides were fantastic and fun for all ages, even adults.
A minor point of improvement could be the bathrooms, as they are a little dated. However, compared to the outstanding service and overall experience, this was hardly an issue for us.
We can highly recommend this hotel and would love to return.

I had a dream stay at Jaz Elite Asteria and I can honestly say that it is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been to! Everything is new, modern and impeccably maintained, which offers a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere from the first step into the resort.
The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, equipped with all the necessary amenities for perfect comfort. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the bed is extremely comfortable - a real treat after a day spent at the beach or by the pool.
The food was excellent, with a rich variety of fresh and tasty dishes, and the service offered in the restaurants was top notch. The staff is very kind, attentive and always with a smile on their faces, ready to help with anything you need. Massaouda Mazni was especially kind, nice and very friendly with us as if we had known each other for a lifetime..
The pool area is a real paradise – comfortable sun loungers, clean water and a peaceful atmosphere. In addition, the location of the hotel is excellent, close to the beach and local attractions.
I highly recommend Jaz Elite Asteria to those looking for an elegant, new and refined place to completely relax and enjoy premium services. I can't wait to come back!

The heated pool saved our holiday. Still, the hotel includes an impressive variety of outdoor pools as well as a game room. Hotel offers around the clock free Golf car rides to the nearby beach which i found excellent, specially for elderly and those who are unable to walk (P.S: beach is not that far: 5-10min walk) We visited during the Eid holiday and we were greeted with Eid cookies in our spacious, clean rooms, also they had a nightly lovely program for kids, not sure if this goes all year long, but it was very entertaining for the kids. The food was delicious and a lot of variety, even at breakfast time. Every evening they have a different specific cuisine so you can’t get bored. we also tried both of the restaurants: vista mare and the fish restaurant and both were delicious. I can’t understand how people can complain about the food, as we read online in Egypt you can really have problems with the food but here it’s not the case. As for the animation, the animation team is fun, we participated almost in every activity and we really enjoyed it. The resort also has a jogging trail that we ran every day. The Spa is great, specially Mr. Alladin! the best massage I have ever had! we checked out at 12:00 but stayed at the hotel until 22:00 (we had an early morning flight). The hotel kept our access to everything open and allowed us to use all the facility and restaurant without extra charge! They even prepared a lunch box for each of us, for the time we were in flight! Hurghada is a very busy place and popular with all nationalities. I was diving every day so 8 hours a day at sea. I didn't use the shopping centre this time but have done so in the past and it was great. It used to be that you would get harassed continually by traders but not so much these days they really have backed off. The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Some places offer excellent takeaway food. There is a public beach a little further away (a short walk across a small desert area) with exceptional underwater flora and fauna. Bring shoes for walking in the water. Please stay above or near the coral (personally, I didn't know there were risks to swimming too far from the reefs, namely sharks. But I didn't see any. On the other hand, there were some exceptional fish! Port Ghalib is a tourist spot but much, much quieter than Hurghada. If someone tries to sell you something, just say ‘La, chokram’ with a smile and everything will be fine. Don't forget to tip a little, as Egyptians earn very little (around €400 per month for a family of four). For activities, I recommend Royal Sea Tours (royalsea-tours.com), who are really great. I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. Very nice and friendly locals! Not many tourists, no aggressive salesmen. The city is not rich, so expect some garbage lying around. The is best fun of my holiday, I get to do this adventure solo which was great and the instructor was very patient and nice , I am a physical disable person and the help and support I got from this group in other to make me enjoy the scuba diving experience was phenomena.
