The place is truly picturesque: right nearby lies a quiet lake, surrounded by lush green forest. Just a hundred meters from the hotel, there is a lift that takes guests straight into a magical woodland with breathtaking views. Along the forest trails, you can enjoy peaceful walks, or, if you wish, rent bicycles or scooters and set off on a little journey among the trees and fresh air. The hotel itself is a highlight of the area. It offers delicious and varied food, with a warm, friendly, almost family-like atmosphere. Železná Ruda is a great base for seeing the Šumava/Böhmerwald national parks -- quiet but with a decent selection of shops and restaurants. On the Czech side of the border, we enjoyed catching the quaint single-seater chair lift up the Pancíř mountain. Over the border in Germany, we enjoyed taking the cable car up the Grosser Arber mountain and walking around the Arbersee lake. We visited at Easter, outside of the winter and summer seasons, so a few attractions were closed when we visited. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed Cesky Krumlov and the surrounding area. The house is set up well and spotless. Everything you need is there. It overlooks a pasture and is next to the local lake. if you hiking, biking, running, swimming, fishing, or just wishing to have silence - it is excellent place but do not forget to have food with you because super/restaurant is closing too early and nothing you can find in the city suggest renting car because it is very small city and one central street of 100-200 meters, no more. .. but city itself has nothing to see inside. after 19:00 you can find only alcohol everywhere and not any small piece of food :-) ...Guest review byIssaharIsrael - 10.0

Beautiful location and views very remote so must be willing to drive to other small villages for more dinner options/ activities. Perfect for walking/ hiking, cycling and outdoor swimming/paddle boarding. Ski season would be perfect with lots of slope options all not far from one another. Everything was just amazing. Well equipped and you can find anything you need. A nice village with both a beautiful Czech National Park and...
A nice village with both a beautiful Czech National Park and a German national park nearby, and you can start hiking (is for me going uphill in nature) or cross-country skiing within 10-15 minutes walking from where I stayed. It has a brewery hotel on top of a ski slope, not too far walking from the town center, for those who love hiking. It hosts a number of restaurants, and Asian and Thai massages are an option as well. It is also a good starting point for cycling in the two national parks. Public transport for the Sumava national park towards the east is mainly by bus, and in the summer, and trains go mainly north toward Plzen and south into Germany, from where the train mainly goes either south or west, and to the east the bicycle or the bus can be used. Top of the place to stay here in area lipno see! 9 to 10 points about the penzion. 9 for the rooms and place. 10 for the friendly stuff and the options near the penzion kackuka DaJa kackuka means the bird sounds kuck kuck :-) ceske krumlov very nice. Food in the restaurant great fresh and original Boheme and eco or bio organic. Train biker car traveling easy. Only the wheater can making bad days but life is so simple ☆☆☆☆ Look at your soul and find the best things in you. Do what you like just for fun. Love peoples theres heart like yours and living free feel free or setting in a courtroom for damage mind about a depression. Here is a place there can heal your heart, soul and body disorder.
