- From $140.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 267 reviewsWe stayed in 7 different accommodations during our trip to Chile and this ranks one of the highest, the breakfast definitely the most original and best. Breakfast was either delivered to your room or enjoyed in the restaurant but it was very traditional with juice, huevos,,local breads, meats and cheese. It was a lot of food to be honest but you didn't need any lunch! Every other hotel did a rather bland array of breads, cheeses, yoghurts and coffee, this was a level above all of those. Each room seemed to have its own very private patio and nature could be enjoyed. The restaurant also did great food and the sunset views made it worthwhile in itself. The facilities were great and the WhatsApp for communication worked perfectly, even down to the video shared before arrival of how to navigate the turn into the lodge. Well done Cuarzo Lodge!Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom
- From $172.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 160 reviewsThe Alaia Hotel is in an idyllic spot on the coast in Punta de Lobos, just south of central Pichilemu. The rooms have large windows facing the coast, making for an unbeatable view. A short walk to the tip of Punta de Lobos provides more great ocean views and is a perfect location to watch surfers tackle the area's famous waves. We found all of the staff at the hotel to be friendly and helpful, especially Nico, and the food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was fantastic.Guest review byPeterUnited States

We enjoyed the pelicans.
We enjoyed the pelicans. The town itself was very touristy and not our style. We found a restaurant we liked and had two dinners at the beach which were excellent. Could have spent another day watching the pelicans diving into the waterGuest review byCindyUnited States - 10.0
Museum in SC is worth a visit.
Museum in SC is worth a visit. Full of interesting artefacts charting the history of the region and other events in Chilean history. Vineyards are of course a must and recommend Clos Apalta - quite stunning building and fantastic wine.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We came to Rancagua for the major hospital for the area.
We came to Rancagua for the major hospital for the area. We were visiting a very sick relative. So we weren't visiting the city itself. As a regional city it has all the usual things. Liked the wide footpaths and bicycle lanes. Because it is a regional city, it is good to have at least some Spanish as not many people speak any English.Guest review byJaneAustralia - 10.0

The beach is great and there is an excellent pizza restaurant. There are also plenty of little shops where you can buy groceries or other things you need. It is close to Navidad, where they are more stores and a pharmacy. We walked around the area by the shops restaurants, and cabanas, and it was nice to not have to find parking by the beach.Guest review byEdwardsChile - 10.0

Pichilemu is usually awesome, however in this stay it was a bit too crowded for my taste; perhaps the fact this past weekend there was a music festival + the summer people, but the town access was terrible and most eating places very crowded; little information updated in the places social networkGuest review byRoseRosalesRichardsChile - 8.0

there are several super nice museums, colchuga museum is really worth it, i need to go back as i didn't finish it. the wine museum and automotive museum at viña St Cruz very also super interesting, we used santa cruz as a base and also went to las cascadas de buitreras . so beautiful.Guest review bySilviaChile - 2.0
It was a worst experience in my life unfortunately.
It was a worst experience in my life unfortunately. I booked and paid for a deluxe room with balcony. Got standard room without balcony. Feel ripped off. In the evening until 11 pm was a live music so loud that we couldn’t hear anything on TV or sleep. We felt like in a club. There is no sound proof walls for this kind of event. There is no information on their website about very loud live music. There is no vine list. Menu is very poor. Sandwiches and curry on the sea side… We left in the night and prefer drive 3 hours back to Santiago then stay there. Lack of interpersonal skills of manager is absolutely shocking. She was very rude and arrogant almost screaming to our back while living the place. Plus on top of that we got threat email after giving bad note experience.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
We visited several wineries during our visit.
We visited several wineries during our visit. We particularly liked Vina Maquis, Estampa, Vina Viu Manet, and Laura Hartwig. We also enjoyed the Museo del Vino and the Automobile Museum at Vina Santa Cruz. We ate at several good places - lunch at the cafe at Estampa, Peruvian food at La Casita de Barreales, and dinner twice at Parrilla Candil steakhouse.Guest review byCarolUnited States
