Unbelievable views & fantastic, very helpful staff! The included breakfast was great and they were very accommodating for my allergies. The location is very close to the train station, and the walk is flat which is useful for over packers like my self.

The room was really spacious with amazing mountain views. The location is very convenient, on Grindelwald's main street, close to the train station and cable cars, with lots of shops and restaurants around. The cleanliness was top notch. Ample counter space in the bathroom for all the toiletries. Breakfast was really good and they go the extra mile to include local cheese and bread. The staff was really friendly, they were very kind and were able to help us with an early check-in.

Fantastic views, fantastic staff, went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Sara was a gem. She picked us up from the cable car, and I really didn't think the car would make it up to the mountain with us all on board, but she drove like a pro. I can't give any more praise for the place. Breakfast at the hotel was a daily treat with its wide array of options. Whether you're craving something hearty or light, there's something for everyone. Accessibility is another plus. During the ski season, the local bus stops right in front of the hotel, making it extremely convenient to explore. Also, a scenic footpath leads you directly to the center of town – a lovely walk amidst stunning surroundings. We chose the half-board option, and it's safe to say that each meal was a culinary delight, showcasing the skill and care of the chefs.     We appreciate a lot the fact that we could check in early. We were very tired after a long way, therefore we were very happy to enter into apartment with a few hours early. A big thank you! The apartment was nice, very clean, bright, well equiped with all you need. But the view was what we apreciated soooo muuuch! On my birthday, I found a a birthday card and a voucher for a glass of wine for each of us in their restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise. Thank you again!☺️ The location is ideally located between both train stations and easy to identify it. A bus station (bus 103) is just in front of the building, there are a lot of shops/restaurants/supermarkets near. Next to the reception there is a small shop with everything you could want, accessible 24/24. You can even order fresh bread. We didn't try it, but there is also a very nice pool and sauna. We received so many information during check in process, I have never received so many details and I have visited a lot of countries. The staff was friendly and smiling all the time. It is really a very nice location. I would recommend it to anyone and I would come back happy even tomorrow.

    It’s a short walk from the grindelwald train station, mostly flat, a short uphill walk. Short walk to pfingstegg for toboggan, extremely short stroll to first bahn. The staff were very hospitable - they helped move our bags to the room, out of the room, allowed us to use the spa facilities even after we’ve checked out. The spa is great! Steam room, heated pool (with an amazing view), sauna, hot tub and even ice shower. It’s amazing!! Oh ya and their restaurant was reasonably priced, had the lamb lasagnes with ratatouille. All with a view of eiger. Love love love.

    We liked the service, the staff, and the concierge in the breakfast restaurant. They are very friendly and very pretty. Also, the hotel was very quiet and had a fantastic location in Interlaken. The price was not cheap, but it was an exciting hotel with a great atmosphere. The housekeeping team was great and very kind; they cleaned our room twice daily when needed.

    Interlaken was the “cherry on top” of our European travels.

    Interlaken was the “cherry on top” of our European travels. The views were amazing (I’ve never seen 30+ paragliders in the sky…in the ALPs no less!!!), the area was so quaint, the locals friendly; and eating Swiss fondue somehow tastes better from the Alps! Highky recommend cappuccino and breakfast at the Aarburg (Tim & His Wife are awesome & The food not only tastes amazing but each dish is a work of art!) and the Boutique Hotel Bellevue.

    We stayed for 3-1/2 days mostly hiking in the area in mid-August. Many tourists but manageable. Strongly, strongly suggest buying the Jungfrau Pass so you can access any trains, buses, and cable cars in the entire area. It makes it so easy to get around Grindelwald, Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Wengen, First, and the Eiger. We should have booked a 5 day stay as there were some other hikes and attractions we wanted to take and see. Definitely go to Glacier Canyon and walk it to the end, but take warm clothes as the canyon is quite cool even in August due to the glacial runoff. And for sure visit the base of the Eiger. Suggest you also always get up early and get transport to your destination as late mornings (August) can be very busy and cause long lines.

    Three days would have been right if the weather had cooperated. We had 3 days of rain and clouds. Did not go to the top of either mountain as it was totally fogged in on all 3 days. We did enjoy the rest of the area, doing what we could in the rain.

    Wengen is an unbelievably charming town perched above the Lauterbrunnen valley, with incredible views of the valley and its waterfalls and the surrounding moutains. There are lovely hikes of varying degrees of difficulty that take you to great spots. And it is easy to access other attractions in the Jungfrau region. It is worth some research into the various transport passes. You definitely want some kind of pass if you are there for multiple days. My wife and I also visited Grindelwald for a day, and we enjoyed it. It is more built up, with more activities and probably more nightlife than Wengen. But, to our taste, we would definitely rate Wengen higher given its very small town vibe and unbeatable views.

    Wilderswil was a pleasant surprise. a quiet residential community a few kilometers from Interlaken, the area is quiet and friendly. A short bus ride to the main train station and into the city of Interlaken provides access to the rest of the area. I look forward to returning in the winter to enjoy the surrounding snowfall (hopefully!).

    t's a spacious apartment and was ideal for me, my wife and my 2 sons. The Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfy and the bunk beds were perfect for my 13 & 9 year olds. The views from the windows are beautiful and there is a balcony as well that's very convenient. They have slip ons of various sizes as well as they request no shoes inside the apartment, a very nice touch. its very close to the bus stop which takes only 10 minutes to Interlaken Ost and run every half an hour. The Hosts were nice and communicative so a big thumbs up to this property

    Bönigen is lovely as it’s quiet and peaceful but it’s very easy to get to Interlaken centre to do day trips in the area. There is plenty to do also right in Bonigen there are lots of water activities and trails. It’s beautiful the lake is stunning. We did not have a car this house is fully accessible by public transport and food can be bought in the local shops or the big supermarket in Interlaken Ost the station you will pass through when you make any trips outside Bonigen.

    Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer.

    Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.

    Very quiet with limited food choices.

    Very quiet with limited food choices. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. The gondolas & bus transport were not at all intimidating. Not a lot to do there, but breathe in the scenery & enjoy! We loved it as a base town for other activities.
