A beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. the room was well decorated with a very comfortable easy chair with footstool by the windows, plenty of outlets and good lighting. very comfortable bed with cozy woolen rug next to it and good shower. Initially seemed a bit strange having shower (etched glass walls) essentially in the middle of the room but was fine and the bathroom area was spacious and the underfloor heating is wonderful. Molton Brown products are always a plus! The minibar was well stocked and good to have kettle as well as Nespresso machine (and real milk). staff very prompt in replying to requests and providing extra coffee capsules and tea. Norca restaurant was excellent, we had a wonderful dinner our first night with lovely servers, delicious cocktails, wine (good selection) and food (elk chaussons were melt-in-the mouth yummy) …. but not cheap!

The hours are good. The experience was ruined by a child who was perpetually sneezing into her hands and then grabbing food items without using the tongs. My options became very limited due to the lack of parental oversight of the sneezing child.

    Very nice location. Many shops and restaurants in area. Just off the 417 and over the bridge from where the Senators play. 20 minutes to downtown. Visited the Nordic Spa in Quebec. It was 30 minutes away and worth the trip. It's an outdoors relaxation area with 7 cold and warming pools, a salt water oasis and spa treatments.

    There was a strong sewer smell in the second floor hallway. Our 1st room was awful but the next one was an upgrade for sure. Ken was very nice at the check-in and for our messy room ordeal. The breakfast and breakfast lady was awesome. It was included with the room and there was a big selection of option for a continental breakfast. It was a really nice stay...if the pool would of not been broken our stay would of been close to perfect. Also there was a little area across the road with different restaurant, lcbo, winners, arden.

    The location was great related to where we needed to be but...

    The location was great related to where we needed to be but there were far too many issues. Essentially on the surface, the Riverrock seems nice enough but the staff appears not to care. We had issues with the internet and TV only working intermittently. The door lock was glitchy, the window, once opened, would not close, no hot water and the breakfast was extremely basic. Unfortunately, it's the only hotel in the area.

    We love Ottawa and come for a visit often.

    We love Ottawa and come for a visit often. People are friendly and polite. Lots of wonderful parks to see and trails. They are excellent. Plenty of places to eat in or take out. The area we stayed in was nice and clean and overall the city was very clean. Love that. Missed see Mark Carney.

    The hotel was close to the Canadian Tire Center which was where our concert was being held. It was clean and although the line up was very long upon checking in, the staff was efficient and very friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

    A delightful city and so much to see.

    A delightful city and so much to see. Much preferred it to Montreal and Toronto. A pity the parliament buildings were closed for tours, due to extensive building work, The Air AND Space museum was very good as was the war museum. I wish I had longer to explore that my 2 days.
