- From $154.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,196 reviewsImpromptu stay when we needed a night on the town—- will be recommending to my out of town family and friends! The room was comfortable and well-outfitted. We stayed on the fourth floor and it was quiet, definitely other guests on the floor but we never heard a peep. The Murray is located in the downtown on Harbour Dr., so for folks who want to be in a good sight-seeing location it is ideal- felt like a downtown local steps away from all the good restaurants like Merchant and Rabble.Guest review byElizabethUnited States
- From $154.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 149 reviewsWe thoroughly enjoyed our "last minute" stay at this lovely hotel overlooking the town of Les Houches. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, the rooms were big, comfortable and clean, and it was so nice to sit down in the lobby in one of the cozy sofa areas. The breakfast was great, everything was fresh and plentiful. If I return to the area, I'd definitely stay here again!Guest review bySandyUnited States
- From $135.21 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 377 reviewsThe cabin overlooks the atlantic water which is amazing! Its also quite close to one of the light house. If you are up for an easy hike, cabin to lighthouse is pretty walkable. The cabin is also exceptionally clean and complete of necessary needs for cooking if you plan to save from food. Overall my partner and I had an amazing experience with Oceanside.Guest review byJilPhilippines

This was our first time in St.John's.
This was our first time in St.John's. We rented a car and drove along the Irish Loop and visited coastal towns along the way. We also visited sites around St.John's and we enjoyed it all, from Quidi Vidi Harbour, George Street, Jelly Bean Row, The Rooms, Basilica Cathedral of St. John, Marathon of Hope Mile 0, and more! Seeing the sunrise off Cape Spear was a incredible, and seeing the sunset from Signal Hill was amazing. There are a lot of great trails to walk through. So bring comfortable walking shoes and water bottle. There are so many beautiful views to discover!Guest review byPamelaCanada - 8.0
Location of hotel was great.
Location of hotel was great. Cruise ships pull into downtown area busy. The parking is hard to know if you pay or not because the meters are all broken and even the restauraunt did not know if I have to pay. I came back to a bylaws officer writing me up for 100 dollar ticket . I told him there is no meter where I parked he said the spot was for cruise ship shuttle bus. I discussed this with him and I thanked him for a warning only. I came back 1 hour later to find the spot now had a sign cruise ship shuttle parking.Guest review byTonyCanada - 8.0
We enjoyed one day and night in Gander.
We enjoyed one day and night in Gander. Really enjoyed the stop at Gander International Airport with the history and the connection obviously to the 9/11 events. Our stop at Silent Witness Memorial was sad but interesting to learn of these events. We had a fabulous meal at The All New Rosie's Restaurant. Delicious and so much food. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Gander.Guest review byDeniseCanada - 8.0

Two minute drive from ferry. Very friendly folk. We stayed at Hotel Port Aux Basque and we would stay there again. We didn’t spend much time driving around. We only stayed for the night before continuing our journey up north. The hotel was within walking distance to Irving and a Tim Hortons, as well as a convenience store a little up the road. There was also a Foodland in the area which we did not visit.Guest review byAmy-JoCanada - 8.0

There were great scenic views and had all the amenities that were needed. We ate at the Buoy and arrow and the fisherman’s landing which had super kind staff and great food. The ice cream at Sweet rock was delicious and it was a nice little ice cream store. Overall Rocky Point is a great place to go to !!Guest review byAnonymous - 4.0

Very surprised at the owner and managers attitude in not offering any compensation for the missed breakfast. We agree that the alert was outside their control but we paid for B&B not just “Bed”. We should have been willingly offered some form of compensation for our new additional costs at another facility. Very poor customer service!Guest review byAnonymous - 10

We arrived after the fishing had ended so unfortunately we couldn’t get any fresh seafood. There are good hiking trails worth doing. The town is very picturesque and during the regular tourist season it’s a lot of fun.Guest review byWENDYCanada - 8.0

So close to the airport, that I used it for a stay before flying out. The town had all the amenities needed for getting supplies, groceries, and a meal before going on to next destination. But realized its really close enough could have stayed here and explored much of the western part of province both south and north of it. Pretty central between Cornerbrook, Gross Morne and north to Jackson's Arm areaGuest review byKathyCanada - 6.0

GFW is a useful stopping point when crossing the island, we were reasonably lucky with the weather, if it had been raining we would of struggled to fill the days. as with much of NL I would pass by if we had not previously read the reviews, we found good pizza at Leftys and also an Indian near the mallsGuest review byAndyM - 10
Wow what a beautiful city!
Wow what a beautiful city! Easy to navigate and sights not too far to walk or drive to. I really recommend doing Adams Pub/history crawl it was so cool to visit some haunted sights and try local beers and learn about the history. Getting screeched in at Christians pub and hiking up signal hill. So much history, great live music at almost every pub. Always something going on but also on a Monday it's quiet.Guest review byLauraCanada
