It's a good overnight halt while driving to Halifax from Toronto/Montreal. People planning a trip to Gaspe peninsula could begin/terminate their trip here. Ferry to North shore of St. Lawrence River will be a good experience.Guest review byAjay MainiCanada - 8.0

We visited the Empress of Ireland museum and would recommend it to all, unfortunately the submarine was closed and that was disappointing. Don’t visit on a Monday, the restaurants are closed in RimouskiGuest review byJackCanada - 8.0

Great host, beautifully renovated farm house, beautiful peaceful garden, delicious breakfast. The only little thing : the bed frame is squeaking but mattress and pillows are very comfy. The room is full of light and very homy. The bathroom is spotless , big and have all the necessary modern amenities. A very pleasant home away from home.Guest review bynadineCanada - 8.0
Cabano is so much more than what you see from the highway.
Cabano is so much more than what you see from the highway. The town was so pretty. The park is amazing. If you are travelling through (we travel from NB to ON) Cabano is a great place to stop and take a break or stay overnight. I would have enjoyed at least one full day and another night to explore.Guest review byCrystalCanada - 10
Pleasant two nights stay in Kamouraska.
Pleasant two nights stay in Kamouraska. If you are on our way to Gaspé or back take advantage of this beautiful village. Best time to visit Thursday to Sunday. Monday to Wednesday the restaurant we liked is closed (Coté-Est). One night is feasible but is short. Cool down on the public beach, read a book and enjoy the sunset. End of Juin begining of July there are a lot of roses in bloom. Beautiful.Guest review byAlexandraCanada - 8.0

We did not stay long enough to explore the area but nearby looked pretty as we drove . Also there was local hockey match and country dancing going on which looked like lots of fun. Warning to those who want to cross the river. Expect to queue for 2 hours before for the ferry.Guest review bysUnited Kingdom - 10

We could walk from the hotel to the many restaurants as well as along the waterfront for daily sunsets. We drove to the recommended attractions (parc du Bic, route des monts notre dame, Portes de l'enfer) With good sunny weather, we had a relaxing four days of local tourist faresGuest review byGerardCanada - 10
I frequently drive from NB to ON and the stretch of the St.
I frequently drive from NB to ON and the stretch of the St. Laurent between Riviere-du-Loup and Québec is, in my view, one of the most beautiful places on the planet. La Pocatiere and area with its hills (les monadnocks) is lovely. Be sure to visit the Tourist Information Centre for fabulous views of ma belle fleuve St. Laurent and the mountains beyond. Explore along Rte. 132 - so much to see and do (cycling, skiing, photography, loads of artisan studios, restaurants, other food and beverages places, and fascinating history). I hope to some day spend a week or so in the area so I can really immerse myself much more than I can while en route. And you may see snow geese, if you're lucky.Guest review byNadineCanada - 8.0
Place is ok, Close to the lake you can take some picts.
Place is ok, Close to the lake you can take some picts. Is not much to do around. We try to eat @ Pod du lack but it was full and you need reservations. Everything is closed. Ending eating something from Metro supermarket.Guest review byEurocanCanada - 10

It has everything you need for a stop while travelling. We especially like the river path; equipped with seats & swings, very clean with an incredible view of the sunset. The City also has a nature park with walking pathsGuest review byGiseleCanada
