- From US$162.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 322 reviewsThe cottages are so beautiful! It’s like a fairyland with pretty flowers of different species just outside your different coloured scheme house in the garden. Entering the house was a feast for the eyes with great attention given to every interior decor and details. A bonus to have a TV in every room and hall. Netflix service is provided where you can key in your own account access. There are plenty glassware and pretty plates for your use. Beds are very comfortable with plenty of space created within a mini cottage but fully furnished and equipped. We were pleasantly impressed with a bottle of wine given and a bag of honeycomb chocolates as a complimentary delight. Everything in this stay is wonderful with close walking proximity the the beach. It’s only a 10 mins drive to Port Elliot and Victor Harbor where all the dining restaurants are. We love this place and will highly recommend to our friends!Guest review byMarySingapore

Public transport around the place is very good.
Public transport around the place is very good. We found the timetable and stops confusing. We managed to get on the wrong tram and also didn’t get off the bus at the right spot so found ourselves on the way back to where we’d boarded. I think a more tourist friendly printed map would be very handy. Apart from that, Glenelg, botanic gardens, museum art gallery, markets all fantastic the locals are very helpful and friendly. Love the mix of old buildings with new.Guest review byJohnAustralia - 10.0

We loved the Botanic Gardens and spent most of our one day only there. Also our walk up to the Red Cliffs. We plan to visit again and explore more of the township and the estuary. Lots more to do yet.Guest review byKateAustralia - 10.0

Awesome place to explore.
Awesome place to explore. The old timers mine was very interesting. The Big Rig 360 was great for a meal and sunset drink. The underground motel is a must do experience. If it's not in your budget they will let you have a look around the building and have a cuppa, if the cafe is open.Guest review byTaniaAustralia - 10.0

Victor Harbor is a nice clean precinct.....good bakery.....variety of shops......Woolworths/Drakes/Aldi.....Information Office (staff very helpful)......Good to have a paper map to find your way around.......various tours to take.......Victor Harbor is a good place to use as a base camp to tour out from. Horse drawn tram, Cockle Train trip to Goolwa, Coorong cruise from Goolwa, road trips to Cape Jervis south to McLaren Vale north......roads good (a bit windy in areas).....be prepared for very windy weather.Guest review byHowardAustralia - 6.0

Unfortunately, the Town is obviously struggling with the Steel Plant issues and the Trades and others I spoke with on this trip were very negative about the current and future prospects of Whyalla. The Town in my opinion needs a Birthday. Looking very sad unfortunately. I wasn't working at the Steel Works on this visit, wasn't remotely connected to Industry in Whyalla or surrounding areas. it was in the Whyalla CBD. I visit Whyalla at least once per year.Guest review byDarenAustralia - 10.0
The local bars and restaurants were great.
The local bars and restaurants were great. They were busy for school holidays but staff were always willing to help out and get you a spot. Bar Musque in Tanunda was a highlight! Amazing food and gin - staff were exceptional and super helpful. The little shops and the main drag is a great spot to have wine or coffee with the nicest produce around. We loved it.Guest review byBrigitaAustralia - 2.0

We submitted a review and sadly the owners didn’t take on board rhe criticism. Why should we be forced to keep an electric blanket on all night to stay warm….buy another blanket!! You failed to answer my concern about your “pornographic DVD player in YOUR COLLECTION LEFT FOR GUESTS”, not good at all! The heater was turned on and didn’t come on for over and hour, then 5 minutes and went off again, the towels were so thin and small, come on……you charge enough, spend a few $$$$$$$, I think adequate was generous, I won’t be telling anyone to go to you, your most unapproachable! Not good!Guest review byJacquelineAustralia
