Location location location... if you are one of those, just sleep and head off for the sunrise, then this is the perfect place. I arrived pretty late 10pm and I was supposed to check in by 1800 hour, with a simple phone call all I need and also an easy check out. Thank you Don. Big thumbs up... will be there again in a few months.

Very happy with the good value for money. Rooms were spacious and clean and seemed to be newly refurbished and renovated. Everything worked perfectly. Carparking was not a problem and parking in front of room was also convenient.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Corner Store B&B, the entire place was neat and spotless, making us feel comfortable at home right away. What really stood out was the thoughtful preparation - all the breakfasts were beautifully arranged and ready even before our arrival, which made everything so easy and welcoming for us. Every details show how much care and attention Lyrae and Caron put into making their guest feel special. We couldn’t have asked for better experience and would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a cozy, clean and well organised stay!

We had everything we needed after a long day on the road: a comfy bed, al hot shower, a silently working AC and a fridge.Additionally we had a fully equipped kitchen with kettle, toaster, microwave and stove top that we could cook our own meals. Everything was nice and clean and spacious for 2 people. Staff was very friendly, understanding and helpful. Cockatoos inhabted the place and were not shy, very delightful.

Such a welcoming place & the staff were lovely. Had a great time at such a wonderful, homely place. Kids loved it so much & are already asking if we can come back next year. . So much to do there, the animal feeding was certainly a hit with our group....They really have thought of everything!! Thankyou so much for providing us with an amazing base to explore the Grampians. Grampians Pioneer Cottages are a real gem near Halls Gap @ the heart of the Grampians. We stayed here for the second time - this time with our family. We loved the cosy and beautifully furnished cottage, equipped with all you need to make your stay comfortable and nestled in superb, wild nature. We admired the visit of many kangaroos, emus, birds … who were literally at our doorstep, enjoyed the fabulous fireplace in the evening. What an unforgettable experience. We hope we can come back again soon. We can highly recommend this place. You will not regret it.

It was one of the best stays we ever had in Australia. No, it’s actually THE BEST stay we had! Place was quiet and private; bed was so comfy that we didn’t wanna leave. We had such a great time cooking our meals together too. I would STRONGLY recommend DULC to anyone looking to spend some private and peaceful time with your loved ones.

    Halls Gap is beautiful.

Halls Gap is beautiful. We visited the new Gallery at WAMA and its botanical garden area, which we will definitely do again. There are some nice eateries. Flame Brothers was excellent, and the local wine shop stocks a great range of regional wines. The Pomonal Wildflower Show was a highlight, with lunch at Barneys. Surrounded by natural beauty it is a must visit.

Ararat is a lovely town in itself and has everything you need, town hall, art gallery, many shops, antiques, eating places, gift shops, swimming pool, indoor and out, recreation, park, drives up to Halls Gap and tourist attractions areas. Didn't like the mess and Barracks much, it was cheap and very pub style.

Brilliant sample of country Victoria/Australia; genuine warm country welcome amid towering gums, native bushlands, great birdlife and cute animals. The easy walk through bushland to town delivers great food, sensational wine list and great morning coffee. ...and I'm a professional tour guide showing tourists around, so I'm a well-informed "purchaser"

Liked the Wannon Waterfalls within 20 minutes of the town.

Liked the Wannon Waterfalls within 20 minutes of the town. Unfortunately, the other one was closed for repairs and signage was not used to inform travellers. So many people, including me would have driven many kms out of their way from either end of the access road to the falls. Why didn’t the authorities who had approved the repairs to Nigretta Falls consider the impact and waste of fuel for many tourists over the many months this site has been closed? There are some great bluestone old churches and Victorian style houses with great iron lace work in the township. The Information Centre is stylish and well presented with helpful staff.
